I climbed to Master rank in a few days in Season 20 of Pokemon Unite with a solid 63% winrate. Despite that, I would say this was my most unsatisfying climb of all time. Not because I did worse than I expected or anything, 63% in a total of 30 games is pretty good. The reason was because my final game right before reaching Master rank was a bot game. Yes, I reached Master rank with a BOT game.
People have talked about how bot games are probably not that healthy for a ranked experience in Pokemon Unite, but I decided to delve into a few more specific problems I have with this system. Just felt a discussion on the topic could be interesting. It also just felt nice to get back to recording again after my break, so a discussion video was a fun way to start.
No legendary Pokemon were used in this climb because I felt like it would be more fun to use non-legendary Pokemon to reach Masters.
