I was sat in circle one evening and the Teacher was giving us a guided meditation to try to meet our guides. I found myself at the beginning of a wooden arched bridge about 20 feet long. At the other end I could see/sense a person standing there, so I walked over the bridge. As I neared the other side I saw a person in a vivid royal blue robe and I got near this spirit embraced me. I felt such an overwhelming feeling of being loved, I cannot describe how intense it was. Nothing was said just this pure love for me. After a time we separated and I returned back to the circle. The Teacher usually came to me first after meditations to say what we experienced. I was so emotional I couldn't speak, I had tears in my eyes and was almost crying with happiness. It took me about 20 minutes before I could speak.

Beautiful experience with your father in law. I had a similar experience once with my hubby in spirit. I felt when he leaned in to hug me. I woke up and could feel on my physical body where he held me. Profound and so grateful.
