Would love to see you struggle with the budget tiny raw setup: EOS M with Magic Lantern and probably an adapted telephoto. Heavily cropped live view, unreliable piece of software, additional specific software for converting the raw footage into anything usable, etc. But you can build a 4k setup for $400. Will the day ever come?

Before you bought the BMPCC I've watch the video where you met Gerald on the street with his Blackmagic rig. I was so impressed with that look, just magical. I think it looks better outside with natural light, for inside you need to be a colorist guru to make it look right. So I believe large format sensor does come more convinient in interior.

This BMPCC looks better than your EOS R videos. Don't be silly, this is a cinema camera, the other one is for photos. Good purchase.

What has been your favorite lens for the og? I’m rocking the speedbooster & sigma 18-35 for now. And ya I used to do FDs, Nikkors, etc. All decent but that crop factor is murder. The Laowa’s are my second fav so far with this cam.

Always nice to take a peek through the gander, even if it's about photo gear I don't need. Also nice to see the vintage cinematicness sweep you through the monolithic widescreen stargate just like Davey Bowman. Maybe on the other side you'll be the greatest DJ for totally sober vegans. The giant festival screens will show slowmo clips of the crowd dancing across the street at 10,000 fps.

BMPCC OG gives you up to 30 raw png images per second 🙂 I love mine with the PanaLeica 25mm 1.4 , I hope you still have yours. The tiny Olympus 45mm 1.8 is valuable too.

Since you live in a large city, maybe a short about a short film maker being shorted change at the big and tall store after purchasing a sale item to fit their lifestyle and budget would be worthy of your cinematic screenwriting prowess?

If I wanted to shoot long, I would need a purpose, like having a binoculars mask, or squeezing for optical fore-shortening. Perhaps a 20 to 50 fast glass zoom. Most movie glass is wide angle and panoramic. Not cheap.

I had my eye on the Sony F55 for a minute when I was considering a FS7. If the background image quality held up as well as everything else in the image I might of had one. I ended up with the Pocket 6K.

The P60 Pro, currently uses the IMX888 as its main camera model, which has a sensor size of 1/1.43 inches.

I think the R with the 24 mm 1.4 L looks better and has better contrast and colors than Your new BMPCC

I'm proud of my GH2. I use it everyday for hours for work I get paid for... got it for less than $100.

Hello Captain, I am looking to get back into cameras. I am torn between fuji XT4 & Sony A7iii. I will be using it mostly for personal video works and photos now and then. I am leaning towards the Fuji for the colors and the apsc size as I travel a lot and it would be nice to have lighter gear. Which one would you suggest?

Hopefully a film with generational family drama at home, and boardroom meetings at the workplace. A sensitive, realistic slice of modern life. Dad and Son go to a vegan rave together and learn the true meaning of love. Dad finally gives up on his meaningless lifelong quest for perfect still photographer and becomes a hobo youtuber instead, no more boardroom meetings but now life is full of joys and pigeons and street crossings.

I'd recommend picking an interchangeable lens camera over the x100 line for professional work. Get an xt5 or 4 instead. The x100 line is more of a casual every day carry camera, imho.

this is the last time I will comment to you about opencamera, unless I forget. Open camera should let you do 24p with your P40, I would imagine with that phone open camera would allow allot of interesting stuff (Raw video, crazy bit rates in standard frame rates, and more). Dig into if you have time. I've gotten pretty astonishing video from that app vs phones stock app. Just babby step up bit rates, and if it freezes, back off.
