What made you want to pay the premium for this one? Do you have other games in your collection?

@@RickofEarthTV ya, I'm super with you on this. We all hear about the people that are grading and selling these games (and why wouldn't they if they can get so much money from it?), but we never hear about the people buying the games. Did the buyer spend 15k on Pokemon Ruby as an investment, or did the buyer just really want a graded copy of Pokemon Ruby on their shelf? I doubt it's the latter - I'd think true collectors would want something they can open and look at the manual, game, etc.

Great video! I personally love VGA over WATA, but like you said, Heritage only accepts WATA, so that is probably the way to go!

Insanity! Congrats Chase!

Wata easily over VGA. VGA is stuck in the stone age and unfortunately, their cases aren't secure (look up Matt Coddington's video), meaning someone moderately skilled can successfully remove a VGA game from its case, insert a new game, and reseal the case without it looking meaningfully different. Just no integrity for anyone selling their games as you cannot be 100% sure anymore.

Alot of the huge sales are indeed. It's all a ploy to boost hype and awareness for their company. Pokemon did grading companies HUGE this year. They've been backed up for months and months.

I never really purchase seal games but I recently did and the two games are loose rumbling around the inside of the package even though it’s sealed their Nintendo 3DS games does that affect the value too much even though it’s not open?

Would be interesting to do a taxes due video on all these sales or just one of them. The IRS gets theirs but does your state take a slice of the pie also?

Hey Chase. I have a sealed copy of Pokemon Platinum version. Do you know of any way to tell if its authentic without breaking the seal? I'm interested in getting it graded but if it comes back not authentic, that will be a huge waste of money.

Amazing return! We should be scared with games selling for that much because we may see people at yard sales not wanting to sell their games until they look up the prices first. Or they will start selling them online on the facebook marketplace over priced.

This is exactly what is happening. In the last month over half of the garage sales i find games at are overpriced or people want to look everything up!!! Shame on channels like this promoting this BS just for the sake of getting "views"!!!

No surprise with Heritage Auctions 3 years ago i bought it 3 coins from my country and I pay almost $7.000 a lot money but for me was nothing as a collector.

I feel like a scumbag because i sold my games graded at beginning of the boom an every game that was sold has lost 50/90% the value that i sold them for....people lost hundreds of thousands of dollars 😢

VGA is like that sketchy guy that would buy you alcohol in high school. You send him in and hope he comes back with your booze. They need to update their online ordering system. Grading and reselling games is the best scam/ hustle rn. These people buying 1k+ graded games are crazy.
