Hey! So this evening I took your recommendation of layering Nest vanilla with Born and Roma! Listen! I am in love! Definitely changed the game!!! I walked by my daughter and about a minute later she said, “Mommy! girlllll you smell good!” Then she proceeds to ask me what do I have on as if she needs it in her life. Mind you she is 7! Lol. Also, I actually mixed the nest vanilla oil into my eucerin lotion and that really is my favorite way to use my perfume oils. Thanks for the video!

Love it!🖤 I’ve never mixed my oils into my lotion, but I did used to spray perfume directly into my homemade whipped Shea butter years ago (sensitive skin issues). Great minds think alike! I may have to try this with the oils soon! Probably smells a lot better than my Shea butter concoction. Lol Thanks, sis!☺️

I love Perfect. My complaint was the same one that everyone had. The wear time was so short. Well, they have the intense version now, it's even better and heavier on the amber. I'm in love. ❤️ Great video.

I hear you. I am trying to be so careful with full size bottles. I love them but I fear the high prices and them going bad. So I pick and choose which to get in travel size and which to get full sizes of.

Omg I just found your channel and immediately subbed. I love your informative style, I really learned a lot from you about layering scents. I also LOVE the Madagascar Vanilla oil. It’s so creamy and yummy. It actually made me fall in love with vanilla scents in general. Have you tried the new Nest Golden Nectar? It’s got notes of golden orchid, amber, and musk. It’s so delicate and non-offensive and the amber really shines. I think you’d love it too since you’re such an amber lover.

Side note: some of those older fragrances still got it. I recently bought first Chopard fragrance called Cašmir. This one debuted in '92. It's a lovely amber, vanilla fragrance I absolutely love. The bottle is also classic and makes me feel real grown (mind you I'll 36 this year 🤭)

Chance eau tendre is the only Chanel I have loved. It is the one that feels the most me, and I guess would be signature for that! You might like Delina rosée too.

You are gorgeous. Can you do a tut showing how you achieved your hairstyle? It’s so chic and elegant. Update: So I bought Valentino “Donna born in Roma.” I didn’t like it initially when I first sprayed it, but a couple of hrs after I couldn’t stop smelling my wrist. Lol! I absolutely love it. I was disappointed with Margiela’s “By the Fireplace,” it didn’t even last 15min on my skin. Maybe I became nose blind to it, but I thought it didn’t project at all. So I’m taking it back and trying the Madagascar oil instead. I like the idea of your combo suggestion. I can see myself wearing the just the oil during the day and pairing it w/ Valentino for nights. Thanks for your suggestion, you have me smelling divine.

I had a similar experience with Replica’s Coffee Break. I really enjoyed the scent. It just didn’t last on me.

Those Nest oils are amazing! I use the rose oil and then spray the Chanel Chance Eau Tendre…it’s so good! I use the Nest Jasmine oil and then spray Mojave Ghost.

Yes! I love how the rose oil by Nest isn’t too overly floral. I don’t think my Sephora had the Jasmine oil because I don’t remember smelling it. Lol. But thanks for this combo, sis! Byredo is def calling my name😩

Creed Aventus and MFK 540 is a perfect layering for me. Can't wait until it gets colder to really enjoy it. Great review.

I loved your tips on how to make fragrances last longer and project better. I have some fantastically expensive fragrances which just dissolve completely after less than an hour, turning into a misty veil on my skin (which I have to smoosh my nostrils against to detect myself-- so I can forget sillage and projection, tsk). I will try your tips next week! (Not now, I'm in bed with Covid.) I'm new to your channel and was trying to figure out which fragrances I'd recommend you try based on what you shared in this 26 minute video. Okay, you like powdery warm ambers as well as amber florals possibly with nods to the neo-chypre vibe. I would say for everyday wear over the upcoming spring and early summer: Sir Gallahad by Isabey Beso Canalla by Beso Beach Ambra by Jeroboam Le Chypre du Nil by Ciro and Rivalite Imperiale by Plume Impressions. If you've not tried them and end up ordering a batch of samples online, please do add these to your basket. I have a feeling you'll love them. I wish I had them here to post to you at the moment. I just love seeing how accurate my guesses are in life when it comes to consulting people on aesthetic matters and highly idiosyncratic pleasurable pastimes pertaining to style and art.
