That's the same way I do my devotional everyday. I journal the insights I get from God's Word. It's good to journal because there are times when I go back to what I wrote and it gives me fresh perspective and reminds me how God had shown His faithfulness in my life in the past and every single day. By the way, I was a homeschool mom too from kinder to 8th grade. My son is in senior highschool now at a Christian School. God bless you and your family.
