So much love for these guys the put on such a phenomenal show.

Was lucky enough to see these guys open for Pearl Jam back in 2006. One of the best openers I’ve ever seen. Great band.

Andrew Potts Normally I’d agree as a big MMJ fan, but Pearl Jam live is its own epic experience. Would be cool to see a double billing of those two now. I see MMJ is playing Ohana fest in California where PJ is playing this year too.

I echo brendan taylor’s sentiments. Pearl Jam is not my favorite band. But goddamn do they kill when they play live. Every music fan should make the effort to see Pearl Jam live at least once, and Eddie Vedder solo more than once. PJ trained by following the Dead on tour in the 90s and adopted the Dead’s philosophy and model. That’s where they’re coming from when they take the stage on any given night.
