    Great video ounce again last night was the first time I did the 2 strain twist with my beard yes the fam laughed at me lol but when I got up this morning it was very manageable I'm still trying to figure how to prevent my hairs from tangling up with each other because they cause me to break off some but watching this I figured out I may be combing to hard so I'm going to be more gentler with that processe it is definitely more softer doing the twist though keep giving up the knowledge on the beard bruh its been way helpful through my journey thank again

But I had 2 specifically typed in "Black Men Beards" because the youtubers coming up didn't have my hair type. You came up with a couple of other brothers. But I subscribe 2 u after a couple of vids. Man, I’m not sure I can do these twists just yet. I’m gonna give it a shot tho. I for sure have to get that night time routine in place. There is no way I could even attempt to comb my beard out without wetting it first. MUCH LOVE AND RESPECT!!!!

    Thanks bruh for this video. I now will start twisting my beard at night. After showering and conditioning my beard I put on a silk beard cover to sleep in. My morning routine is to wet my beard apply beard detangler, oil and then comb out. I’m going to start gently combing my beard because I sometimes have mad hair in my sink from my pulling it during the combing. 🤦🏾‍♂️ Thanks again.

    I'm trying to actually get into a routine now brother. I just used about quarter sized amount of black castor oil cut with a dime of tea tree oil blend all up in my beard and skin with several drops applied with a dropper in my moustache down to the skin. I'm gonna do a lite rinse in the morning apply a modest amount of beard oil cause I'm getting a haircut and trim and don't want it too weighed down or go in with bed beard. Thanks again man

    Interesting about the shower part. I was thinking you had to rinse everything out from the night and reapply in the morning to prevent buildup. Your beard is better than mine so I think I'll try this method. I use a leave in conditioner night and day. Also what do you think of the LCO(Liquid-Cream-Oil) method? I noticed you do the balm after the oil and not the oil before the balm. Really got cats seeing what we're doing wrong.

    Great video Ex. I'm not quite at the stage to twist my beard, but I think it may be a good idea for me to put down the firm bristle brush and just simply allow my beard to be slightly damp, apply oil, and then hit it with the detangler during my morning routine. What are your thoughts?

  • @BeardedExistence

    @BeardedExistence

    2 жыл бұрын

    Thanks fam! I normally do my morning routines on a damp beard after I shower unless I did my twisting routine to stretch my beard then I would skip the water in the morning because it would shrink and defeat the purpose of twisting. I wouldn’t recommend skipping water in the morning unless your beard was really healthy and don’t do it often it can lead to dryness breakage and spit ends

    stefan farinha yeah bro I’ve been there!! You beard curls up naturally that’s what those hairs want to do the only way to keep them from curling is to do something that will make them lay the way you want . 1 blow dry which is terrible for your beard so that’s out or twisting. Time will help as your beard gets longer it will be easier to train and twisting is a game changer!! Just stay strong don’t cut it due to frustration and you will be there in no time👊🏾

Olive, coconut, sweet almond, aragon, Shea beard conditioning oil, Tea tree. Even mixed my own. Right now my go to combo is Jamaican black castor oil and uncle Jimmy's beard balm. But still if I go to heavy on any of it. My skin soaks it up and the pimples start. And the longer I grow, the worse it gets. So I have to keep it trimmed to about 2in. Even shorter at the cheek. onesheisty it could also be something in your diet JBCO is a thick oil maybe mix it with jojoba oil which is good for the skin add a little tea tree oil also not every company’s essential oils are created equal You are going to have to keep experimenting until you find a solution look at the ingredients in you beard wash and conditioner. You also have the option of checking with a dermatologist you can use them to figure out what the problem is and If they recommend medicine you don’t always have to take it you can then look into natural alternatives that fix the problem!! Bro quick question say if it's a off day and just staying in crib for day do you untwist the night routine or keep it in until you ready to leave for the day or next day?

    Sometimes I’ll leave it in just so that I don’t have to do it again but I make sure I oil each twist in the direction that they are twisted and I make sure I get the ends!👊🏾
