My hair is thick as well so I put my shampoo (diluted) in an applicator bottle that way I can pour it straight on to my scalp. That way it's clean after one good wash.

The scratch test is necessary! I just washed my hair today and im so proud of myself!

I do the scratch/build up test too!

I've been really learning about my hair during lock down and finding joy in caring for myself and my hair. It grew so many inches during this quarantine as well just with the extra attention and tlc I've been giving my curls.

Best tip I learned is to wash your hair in the sections (either twisted or loosely braided) the longer your hair grows.

I learned a good tip. To let the deep conditioner sit on my hair before I detangle. I usually detail immediately after putting the deep conditioner and sometimes it’s a struggle. So thank you!
