The daughter probably got the tattoo to get the tattoo and then showed her mother for her reaction. My mom didn't want me to get tattoo when i was younger so when i got my first one few months back and i was scare to show her. It took me a whole month before showing it and she just told me "I thought you would've done it earlier" lol (I'm 22) (Also she likes it 👍)
