My Model of Fireball XL5
Фильм және анимация
Gerry & Sylvia Anderson created a Sci-Fi puppet series back in the 1960's and it was a favorite of mine and always wanted a model of FireBall XL5 . It's been a long long time but now have just completed my own model that I decided to make...Enjoy * If you like my video ...Please Comment *

Coolest thing EVER!!!
Very nice model. During lockdown I made a model of Dan Dare’s (Frank Hampton’s) Anastasia. The nose.cone was the most difficult
I liked your video! Great job. I enjoy watching these old Fireball XL5 shows with my grandson.
Every detail done, Fantastic awesome work 👍👍👍👍👍
Hello from Canada. A real labour of dedication. Congratulations for seeing it through to completion.

That is a great piece of work! I grew up watching anything Gerry Anderson did. Fireball was my favorite!
Wonderful model. . . . I love the classic rockets. . .
Great work, I especially like the detail you put into the lounge. Now I want to try my hand at building a Fireball XL 5 thanks for the video, very well done.
This is a wonderful model.
I so totally love that you did that

I often wondered what happened to the rocket sled after it left the end of the track. Was there an ever growing pile of used sleds, and a new one was added after every launch? Or was it somehow retrieved and re-used for a later launch?

The same thing that happened to the palm trees every time TB2 took off. And the pool, was it TB3. They are all swirling around in the giant garbage patch somewhere off California. :)
fantastic model well done
PROVES what A GOOD MODELER can do from SCRATCH !!!!!!!!!!
So well done from the materials used. Have you ever worked with foam-cored board? I could see a lot of applications here that would have benefited from it.
Excellent ! Just don't leave it to sticky-fingered grandchildren - belongs in a museum where we baby-boomers can appreciate it !
you could have at least paid a little attention to 'porportion!!!
