white or yellow are the only legal colours, which i know you dont care, but please dont put the red option on, as when it is actually foggy, someone will drive towards the red, thinking they are following you... keep up the good [if slightly naughty] work

Loving your videos Rachel. Sure I've seen all of them but only just subscribed! How stupid of me. I wonder if these fog lights will fit the MK8.5? The surrounds etc looks exactly the same so I think they would.

Rather than running 12v from battery it would make more sense to run 12v from an ignition live fuse or splice into drl 12v then they would come on and off with ignition 🤷 or even splice into original fog 12v then they will work off the original fog switch

They only come on when connected to the app, they still work as white if you press the fog button. That sounds like too much effort to go through🤣

If they are connected directly to the battery does that mean you have to remember to switch them off via the app every time or are they also controlled by a switch in the cabin 🤔

They don’t come on automatically when unlocking/ starting the car, but need to disconnect them after use otherwise they’ll stay on even if the car is off or locked

The colours are show use only, but if you click the fog light button, they come on bright white and that’s legal

I do like the lights and have thought about it in the past but why is the fashion to make the car as illegal as possible

If your worry is legality, the ambient DRL and fog units are the one for you Both DRLs and fogs (when turned on) are white when disconnected to the app but once connected, you can choose any colour. Best of both worlds🤷🏽‍♀️

@@RachaelBuckley ah ok I new the fogs could be white or yellow but I never use front fogs so didn't bother getting them ah i thought the DRL was only one colour

The DRLs come in 2 options: ambient and one set colour. Mine are just one set colour but the ambient ones work exactly the same as these fogs - there’s a link in the description for both versions😝
