I recently did a digital declutter and have a much more minimal feel on my phone now and it really changes the feel of the phone. I use my phone all day every day for work and having it be primarily a tool with a simple calm space has been incredible

I love the idea of utilizing the app library instead of adding folders on the main page. I just added widgets like notes, calendar and shortcuts (to turn off Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Cellular data simultaneously)

The Siri app suggestions widget is the only thing I’ve had on my Home Screen since it was introduced. I have tried blank home screens, but guess I really like looking at a few tiny colorful squares lol. The widget is pretty great at predicting what I might want to use and I tell it not to suggest things that are too personal or visually unappealing. Also, I love the idea of “animating” a wallpaper. Can’t wait to try it out.

You should do a video on what you have in your kitchen. As far as cookware and dinnerware. Minimalist kitchen/cooking essentials

Have you thought about an updated EDC video? What do you carry now? Do you still use a bag? I think that would be great because what you carry will help in a pinch. I’ve been using the 5.11 Rush 12 for 10 years. I have a small first aid, power bank for my phone, a pair of gloves, things that will help me get home. My iPhone 13 pro is set up the same way; only apps that will get me back to my location. Also, i think a custom wallpaper is a good idea. I’ve been looking at an iPad mini for more entertainment purposes, and I don’t want my 13 Pro to do everything. One of the apps that i use the most is an expense tracker.

I like more your videos about minimalist life! Is this the life I want for me! I would like want your wallpaper with the lamp!

I LOVE the set up! And I love the idea of the lightbulb in the wallpapers. I’m currently using the earth one for my iPhone but it drains my battery like crazy and it’s very distracting. I might steal your idea 😀

If you use a wallet on your phone like that be careful to ensure your message contents are not shown when your phone is locked. Otherwise it would be easy for someone to log into your banking apps on another device if they stole your phone.

Great video as usual. I like the idea of two wallets. I use the magbak wallet as I can get more cards in it for travel (including my work card). I like the look of the apple wallet and may grab that for my everyday carry. I need to consider an EDC for my trips, but even then, I try not to carry too much. Do you use shortcuts? Just got the Apple watch ultra and may leave the phone at home more often. Looking forward to the next video.

I don't have a iPhone, but I also use a cardholder instead of a wallet, it keeps the clutter down.

This is great! I totally ripped of your idea with the wallpaper. I chose an icon of a beagle’s face. When I unlock, its tongue comes out and he says “woof” (Just need to stop constantly picking up my phone to unlock it and watch the change as it’s so damn cute 💁😂)

Minimal income, minimal housing, minimal food, minimal relationships. I’m pretty sure the ’minimalism’ trend is a way to condition you to accept less for your time and effort by making it seem cool to have less. I haven’t used social media since 2011. Never went through withdrawals, I still see my friends, I still know what’s going on in the world. Those would be the only thing I’d cut from my phone. Cleaning up the home screen’s primary function for me was less about minimalism and more about decluttering.

I just ordered a refurbished iPhone 11 pro, it cost me $800aud, iPhone are expensive as! I currently rock a Samsung galaxy a12, it was a cheap $300aud phone brand new and I have always rocked Android phones and never felt a compelling need to get a better phone. Recently I decided I would love a phone with better picture taking qualities and to see what Apple is all about. I am definitely not into spending $2000aud on a phone however, so I decided to take the plunge on buying a refurbished iPhone and take it from there.
