My Minimal ✨Crystal Collection✨ as an Ex-Crystal Hoarder (basically)

I had a HUGE obsession with collecting crystals. Like, it was a real problem. After I forced myself to stopped collecting them, I slowly shrunk my collection into ones that I absolutely LOVE. I saved only the ones that brought me pure joy, and my crystal collection has become a very minimal, yet mighty one. From having thousands of crystals, to now only having a few dozen, my collection has become one I love and use every single one

    So I went into a shop and got what called to me (per ur rec) which was a little amber rock that we put in a metal case thing for a necklace. And honestly? I love it. I feel so unbothered lately, wearing it round my neck. It’s the only one I have, except for a similar color one my therapist at purchase gave me, and I think I will slowly open up to them, but more of letting them come TO ME vs seeking out. I chatted with this older women who ran the shop, she had a niece named Kylie, it was all jist so calm and nice and I’d like to experience it again, but not force it

    That’s great!! I’m so glad you’re loving it! It’s so much more special when you solely are working with just a few, you can remember the reason you got each one and how they individually make you feel. When you have too many, you can’t remember anything and the connection you feel totally gets lost. I’m so excited for you to open up a little bit more to them!

    Hey Love, the Crystal @6:42 is called Stilbite and it looks like it’s attached to Apophyllite which is quite common for that Crystal type. Gorgeous video and beautiful collection 💛.

    You've inspired me to pare down my own crystal collection. I've already gone through all my tumbled stones and taken out half of them. I haven't decided what I will do with them yet, whether I will give them away or sell them. I've got crystals all over my room that I need to go through. I'm at the beginning of my slim down crystal journey. Thank you for the motivation.

    Omg so many crystals! I have a very small collection of quartz, rose quartz, amethyst, citrine and I think obsidian (black protection stone). This video makes me want more! I would love to learn more about how to use them and finding which ones you might need in a small collection. Currently they live on my desk to protect my energy and bring good fortune. Sometimes I keep them in my pocket when I need more balance and clarity.

    When I started my cristal collecting journey I watched this video end the other video that you explained why you didn't collect crystal anymore (?). I keep in mind to buy crystals that totally resonate with me. But it seems that lately I begin to buy crystals more and I should really be careful lol. Idk lately I attracted to blue lace agate. My wishlist now is to have a big labra like you have. It's still expensive to me, but I have to spare my money to buy it and really have to tighten my budgeting lol

    The piece you were unsure of I believe is a Stillbite(peach) with calcite(clear)... One way to tell would be to shine a UV light on it, quite often cacite will show up light pink under UV. I hope this helps. xoxo

  • @TheAuroraCodes

    Be careful when putting them all together like in a bag.. softer minerals (selenite, fluorite, mica, amber, etc). take a beating from harder ones like quartz (amethyst, citrine), garnet, topaz and the like

  • @TheAuroraCodes

    @TheAuroraCodes

    3 жыл бұрын

    Right? At that point I was collecting them just as a hobby not necessarily for healing. I only used a few for that reason. It definitely felt like I was trying to like “keep up with the Jones” though. But most of the ones I had that counted towards having so many were ones I didn’t feel were fit enough to go onto the Etsy shop. So I was left with so many, I didn’t even know what to do with them at that point
