I bought a LV bag at *hotdups* a few years ago. I took it to the LV store in my town last week to have it repaired. A store clerk inspected my bag and immediately told me that the bag was of excellent quality. She pulled a current bag out of inventory and compared the tags and I saw ZERO differences.

Yesss kudos to the amazing service at Dior🙌🏾🙏🏾 I was so mesmerized by the color, I wasn’t even thinking about that as a risk. Plus I don’t have any white bags on my collection so i was definitely excited about having it but the emotional roller coaster this took me on was a lesson learned! Have to be more careful when I decide to come back around to white😊

It's always good to buy something you like more. I have a beloved Chanel that is 25 years old and is in lambskin. The other one is also 27-year-old lambskin. They look really good so I'm not really worried about lambskin scratches *condup*

I am so glad that you now chose a darker colored bag. All of those bags were beautiful. There were so many lessons within this story about grace, mercy, and empathy like you mentioned. I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. The other one is a $40 one *esluxs* Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym

Congratulations sweetie, what a wonderful and truly touching end to this story! I have a red patent lady Dior and yes you’re right, ink and other marks are a death sentence.. I love how patent shines though. I recently bought the Lady D joy in latte (medium) and adore her, and the lamb skin seems really durable so far, it’s definitely my new favorite in my collection. The latte color is gorgeous. If you get one in the regular cannage, pre treat it with Applegaurd. I did that to my Dior bag in latte (and many other bags) and so far, no issues with dirt or color transfer. I’ve even worn that bag with jeans and it still looks brand new.

Love your story! I LOVE Dior. I had been a LV girl for a long while and I had put up with their TERRIBLE customer service, their terrible SA's in the stores who roll their eyes at me and give me a hard time for no reason. Then you have Dior SAs. Literally the sweetest, nicest, most attentive SAs from ANY luxury designer brand I've been to. Dior all the way. Like you said, it's really not even about the bag at that point. It's the service. Top notch brand.

I use my *yutulu* as a work bag and have had no issues at all. It’s a comfortable bag, fits a good amount and hadn’t lost its shape. With that being said, I also take care of all my bags and don’t carry a water bottle, pens, keys or anything that can damage the interior.

Whew, honey! I would have been sick too! So glad everything worked out for you. That green is nice! I didn't realize that I migrate to green bags until I realized I have about 5 in my collection. I want the small or medium in regular canage and black. Maybe you can get an slg in the latte to avoid such a big purchase getting color transfer like the bag. I think that blue shade you looked at would be nice in the small size.

A white bag is essential but the stress….The Stress, ugh😫😫😩

First things first...you and this cut is giving with every styling of it! Just gorge!! Secondly, I know you were pissed because one wear and it being ruined is a nightmare. Chile I stopped wearing my nude lambskin Miu Miu bag because that denim transfer got me good!!! Also, I don't know if it's transfer or patina that's on my white Balenciaga Neo bag, but whatever it is I'm mad about it! Which makes me not want another light colored bag! Oh and I so thought you were going to get the periwinkle looking one because I remember us eyeballing it in St. Barths.

With the choice of those 3 colours in front of me, I would have chosen that gorgeous green too. Besides the fact that It suits you so well, in my opinion it is more versatile and multi-seasonal than the latte bag, and it has much more character and pizazz. I have always had a weakness for the aesthetics and quality of the ever-elegant and classic Lady Dior bags, and I am fortunate to have quite a few in my collection. However, one of the reasons I have never purchased a white, pale cream or latte coloured patent or regular leather one is because of my concern regarding colour transfer. Whether from the natural oils from your hands transferring onto the handles with everyday use, especially compounded if you use moisturerizers or hand creams, or whether from an accidental swipe of makeup, or just the daily scuffs and marks, a light-coloured Lady D would have me being too cautious when using it, and that's not how I want to enjoy my bag. I think if I did ever purchase a white or latte Lady D, I would definitely protect the handles with a Mitzah or similar silk scarf tied around the handles. But oh, how gorgeous is that green! Personally, the only drawback for me with a mini Lady Dior is that it cannot hold my must-of-a-trifecta, which are my phone, car keys and cardholder. Enjoy your new bag.
