Embarking on 1st XK ownership in a couple of weeks, loving your vids. You’re very straightforward, logical and level headed which is perfect.

Just about to start working on rustproofing all underneath my Jaguar XKR - This video has been the bible for me. It has been bothering me for months at how to best get underneath it. Thanks sooooo much!!!

Really helpful thank you! I’m about to do some servicing on my son’s XK so this was really helpful. I’m more used to working on my Range Rover so these sports cars are a very different beast! Loved your methodical approach and the care to took to pick out the jacking locations with the camera.

Super helpful video this. It might seem obvious to some, but knowing how to be confident you’re safe and not damage your car is absolute necessity.

Hi Paul! I would like to take this opportunity to thank you very much for your KZread videos. I've had my XK (model 2008) since February. I have never seen more understandable videos than yours. Everything is explained calmly, understandably and sympathetically. Please keep it up! And I can even understand almost everything when you speak 😉☺️. Hope you get to the interior at some point. For example, I would like to know how to carefully remove the entire area under the center armrest. There are hundreds of videos for my BMW E39, but not a single one for my Jaaaaag. I've only had problems with my original Jaguar ACM so far. But you don't have that (I think). Oh, btw ... many would certainly be interested in how to disassemble and assemble the bumper covers step by step, front and rear. I don't trust myself yet. Greetings from Kassel / Germany, Joachim

Really enjoyed that, very informative. Thinking of giving the underside a coat of Lanoguard before the winter months come along.

Lovely car, mate. Got my first jaguar as well in the last year and I'm moving forward learning a few things. Ramps got me through the oil change and next I'm looking for a jack and stands. Much appreciate your expertise.

Very good advice Paul. I will have to look for similar jacking points on the X100. Reason being I'm replacing the front brake discs. Wish me luck that I can remove the old ones.

Great video and just in time as I’m about to paint my break calipers. Also enjoyed the battery maintainer video. When I use my battery maintainer I connect it to the hot terminal and ground located in the left corner of the boot, behind the plastic grill piece near the tail light. I would think it’s the same on British or American Jags.

Thanks for all your videos. Great content that is encouraging me to do more myself - much appreciated. Oh, and they will always be axle stands for me 🙂

The problem i have with this method of raising the car is that it is an aluminum frame car that is glued and riveted. By raising one corner at a time you are putting a lot of stress on those joints. I would suggest to use a second jack and bring two corners up at the same time especially the front where you have the weight of the engine. Also i always use wheel chocks when raising a car up.

Very helpful, thank you, I was wondering what was the best way and now I have found out. Living just outside Barcelona, we don't have the same problems as you have in the UK with corrosion. I have a very low mileage 2007 XKR, I am the second owner and it is totally original. I have taken some photos which I can send you to show you the position of the protection for the brake pipes. Send me your e-mail and I will send them to you.
