Very interesting. Nice tips. It is similar to singing: with a good support of the diaphragm muscles you can work to increase your vocal range to its limit and stabilise the result. You need to keep your vocal cords relax to tension from your upper torso to the top of the head. It is great to follow your musical talent growing with study and pratice. And as your usual you are a great teacher!

Thank you. Yes I apply similar principles in singing. My natural range is very low, so to get a good soloistic range with my voice I have to put in a lot of effort.

teaching myself to play the tuba after playing reed instruments my whole life. this is helpful :)
