My Memories of Shaykh Yusuf Motala - Abdur Raheem Limbada
Maulana Yusuf Motala (may Allah have mercy on his soul) (1946-2019) passed away in Toronto on September 8th 2019. He was one of the giants of Islam in Britain and he had a huge influence upon the development of Muslim communities in Britain in the latter half of the twentieth century and after. Mufti Abdur Raheem Limbada, who was one of the early students of him, shares some of his memories with the community in Al Ihsan Institute, Surrey, BC.

These people have GIVEN life long efforts for the sake of Allah paaks noble deen May Allah give us the tofiq to follow in their footsteps
Allah grant hazrat the highest jannah, allah make his good deeds flow like a fountain till the day of judgement. Ameen My.mother passed away last month from cancer. Allah grant her the rank of shaheed. Your words bring me comfort.
These people are blessed soooo much that when they go ummah get biiig loss.
I still have Sheikh Abdur Raheem’s £1 that he gave me on ‘Ashūra alḥamdulilāh
