You have a great story, this is the reason I would have gone to a good B school but I didn't know it back when I was prepping for CAT. My coaching teachers made me memorize the answer to the question, "why MBA?", an answer that wasn't mine. That day I decided to drop out until someday when I would have a good enough reason to pursue this. I feel a lot of youngsters today are like my past self, singing up for MBA for all the wrong reasons. If I ever decide to pursue it again (I really don't know if I will), it will be because I want to spend time with people from diverse backgrounds, people who are better than me in a lot of ways and grow alongside them. It's really amazing that you knew your reasons right from the beginning. 😀

You may have gone to ISB when it was new but kids today kind of associate the school with you. I do a lot of mentor ship sessions helping people figure out their mba school, journey etc. And ISB is mostly - oh the school Ankur Warikoo went to :) Also I still remember having a short chat with you when I was applying to ISB in 2014 and u were kind enough to share your wisdom with an absolute stranger like me :) Thanks for all that you do!

First of all thank you so much sir for sharing such a lovely experience and it is actually going to help me further in my MBA life. Hopefully 😅🤞🏽
Being an MBA I can relate to the points you covered, but probably the best video from your side...it is a motivating one and filled with positivity...
You are phenomenal, Ankur. This video is an absolute gold mine. Thank you for sharing the truth, the way things should be. It was a real pleasure listening to you. I never really realized that 16 minutes can have this impact to my thought process. The mental model that you possess is quintessential for every young mind who is about to start off for making his/her life. Signing off with that splendid of yours was the best epilogue I ever sensed. Thank you!!!
The five things you mentioned, gave me goosebumps ! It's like an elder brother offering some life hacks. Thank yiu so much Ankur.. Bless you.!

You and your videos are spoiling me for Life. You give me hope. Thanks, Ankur
Flat out one of the best from you, that I’ve heard, Ankur. The struggle, the difficulty, the confusion, the decision making, the financial implications of it, every single thing has been so beautifully highlighted. I’m mid way through my career, about to start out, on an ISB MBA program, and this video nails the topic heads on. You’re an inspiration, Ankur. Keep it going! 👏
Your kind words really motivated me to choose the correct decision for my MBA. I was in a dilemma for a while. Thanks a lot. :)
Wow. Got to learn so much from this video. Loved your wisdom and take on mba. Thanks a lot.
I am going to do an mba next year, hopefully. And I have a much better perspective than I had earlier, Thanks to you :).
Me as a 26 year old confused guy who did engineering because I was good in science and technology but was not enjoying it after doing it made me realise something was off and I didn't know what I love to do what makes me happy untill one fine day I decided to get into a B school and get into marketing or Business Analytics and the very same day I see your video in recommendation, wow!

Rohan, are you done with your MBA from ISB? If yes, then could you please share your experience with all of us?
This is the bestest video i have ever seen across ...So raw and true......
This reminds of my choice of program which I never heard of in my engineering. Maters in Supply Chain Management. But after 1.5 years I have understood that I have not only learnt what my subject is but helped me evolve as a more intellectual individual, at least that's what I think of myself, and finally recently got an internship in the field I tried for a long time. Just happy that I have been able to relate with every video you make, and somewhat in a very small percentage I have kind of a same path.. Just hope I do something great as you with all your guidance and blessings. ❤️🙏🏻 Warikoo Sir, As Always OP
I Love you Ankur sir. I felt it was me talking and sharing experience with myself. You are such a humble and best story teller person. I am already following your path. Please make more videos based on your life experiences. Thank You sir & God bless you.

Ankur - you are a very good human being i must say, thanks for sharing your experience.
Really good when u described your experience in bullets. It clearly highlighted the take aways.
Your saying got me today my golden word : If you have a way of managing worst case scenario, you have the way to manage everything.

Hi, can you tell me why should I take MBA? You are experienced and know a lot. I'm a really introvert type of person, who hate public speaking, don't take presentation, doesn't know what they wanna do in future, not creative. I have 3 choices to take Science, Commerce and Arts. I know that I wanna take commerce because i want to be in that business field to have a overview of everything and learn the basics of business but after that what should I do? Like should I straight away go for MBA or have to give a exam or job experience. I'm really confused and I'm being true to myself.
Well said Sir. Thanks for sharing your experience.
TQ ❤️ for your words sir, i really planned to go abroad to study but now i will definitely go there and learn more valuable lessons that which can make my life better.
Thanks for sharing your experience. Needed it. ❤❤

The way he approached to imagine salary after graduation is exactly how I imagine, always look for the lowest salary offered and imagine I am the one getting it and then plan the next transactions, so that's a relief that I am not the only crazy one.
One of the very few people spreading positivity, genuinely
Wow such great turnaround case for your life & learning every day something from you . Thank you for every content you are putting.😁
Sir, You have helped me with a fresh perspective. I was in two minds if dng an mba would be a good idea . I am now having clarity and i believe this is what i want now and that an mba is going to help me . Thank u soo much
I can relate to your story. I am going through the MBA, I am in a three-year program and I graduate next year. The experience has forever changed me and opened my eyes to areas I didn't even know about yet affect us in our everyday lives. I don't know what the future holds but I am excited about it.
Your mba experience made me more confident about the thing that I should go for an full time 2 year top mba program, because I m right now in 1st of year of my Undergrad. Thanks for sharing with us your mba experience.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
So much relatable to my MTech journey.. I feel it doesn't matter if it's MBA or MTech or anything, the basic principles & work ethics remains the same.. and what you have beautifully put in the end, people should approach it as a transformational journey than a transactional deal..

So true what you said at 7:07 that there's so much to learn and so much to explore in your MBA journey. I had a similar experience when I went for an MBA program at IIM Rohtak. 15:22 I agree with what you said "If you take it as a transaction, it will be just that, while if you look at it as a life experience, then that can change your life". And, the best one 13:25, "If you have a way of managing the worst case scenario, you have a way of managing everything".
