Intex makes a 4’x4’x1’ frame kids pool that I’ve used as a quarantine pool and it has worked like a charm.

Love the video mate.. don't You have to do a large water change right away the spawn cloud and underutilized eggs will ruin the water.

What do you use a fertiliser mate and do you "feed" the green water? I've heard chicken / rabbit poop works great and just add water?

I didn’t... seems the pond water I used had enough nutrients to kick start the process... but I too have heard they use manure in the larger mud ponds to kick start things 🐟

I just found an empty cooler that I cleaned out that’s I’m using to store the eggs currently. When they hatch how long should I keep them in the cooler?

It can be hard to keep the eggs in a small container as the temperatures are often unstable and it can get polluted very quickly. If you can move them to an algae filled growing tank/pool they will have a better chance.

Hi, i just notice some koi owner cutting their koi pattern, maybe you can just search in youtube about "cutting koi" They do that in some place to get champion in their local contest I just need to ask for you, can you explain and make us know how to differentiate natural koi pattern and cutting koi pattern? Thankyou

Once they get to about 4 inches they seem pretty safe even from the much larger fish.
