Use fertlizers that are high in pottasium. This will help significantly with flowering and conversion. Using high calcium Fertilizers will help with fruit formation.

Cucumbers grow very fast, I would advise you to plan early for staking . They are ready for staking anything from around 10 days onwards

Can you growing them by the raining season pleas. Also tomato? I can't find the exactly what can be grown in raining season. I know melons, that all🤷

Yes. You can grow cucumber all year. So long as you have provisions for irrigation during spells of dryness

We presently weed manually. It's a little bit T of work but we are exploring other efficient ways of using herbicides without being in danger of carcinogens

@@chideraanyanwueze4332 thanks for the very good question. Yes, we relay on nature for pollination but we also plant self pollinating varieties. A lot of hybrids are self pollinating

It's possible but a lot of work will have to go in. Cucumbers are heavy feeders so you will need to provide there Nutrient needs in the bags

Please is It good to use sprinkler irrigation for cucumber farming in the Dry season?

I wouldn't recommend it. This will leave the leaves always damp and induce fungal diseases. More so the braod leaves won't allow water to settle in the root area causing stress to the plant.

Thanks Mohammed for contacting me and also for asking this question. Are you planningb on just growing the cucumbers as garden or its for commercial purposes? If its a garden, then i would say you should look for a way to ensure you provide enough moisture for the crop and probable plant in a place with some shade like under a tree. 31degrees is pretty high and your cucumbers may struggle out in the open without extra attention. If you plan to grow them commercially, then you may need to invest in technologies to reduce the heat intensity. You can cover the crops with shadenet and defintely use Drip Irrigation. With this in place your cucumbers should do just fine. i hope you dont have a high humidity environment as that could be the next challenge. if humidity is a challege, you need to equip yourself with a class a fungicide I hope the above gives you a general guide to the things you need to do. If you still need more clarifications, please feel free to drop a note. Thats why i am here enjoy your day

30cm spacing on the bed. if its drys eason, i do plant double rows on the beds. If its rainy season, i do plant single rows. I hope this helps
