Composing an NES soundtrack has been an interesting challenge. I had to fit all music data, sound effects, and playback code into a single 32 kilobyte bank in the ROM. On average, each track is about 1.5k worth of data. I also had to make sure they still sounded okay if one of the channels was temporarily cancelled by a sound effect.
My goal was to have each track last over a minute, have two contrasting sections to avoid listener fatigue, and feature the "Theme of Lizard" in some way.

This whole project is absurdly underrated. The soundtrack kicks ass and the demo for the game blew my mind. I'm so excited for it to finally release.
I made a cassette of this soundtrack for my van. I am not sure if you intended this, but you made some very fine music to drive a van to.

Lizard is incredible. I can really feel how every bit of it had lots of thought and passion put into it. Honestly there’s a magic to this game that many modern games lack. It clicks with me so much. Love the Maze song, it’s been stuck in my head a lot.

8 years later coming back to this OST, I finally understand the joke/meaning of the title. There are multiple lizards in the game that you can be. Creator's Lizard? It's the Lizard... of Soundtrack!!!
I have not played Lizard in quite a while now, but this soundtrack just keeps me coming back. A really nice one to put on while working. Thank you so much for a memorable and pleasant game!
This soundtrack reminds me of Yoshi's Story-with the whole remix of a main theme (a score)-dependent upon what area is being currently visited! I'm regretting not purchasing this awesome Metroidvania/Castleroid game any faster. Your Lizard is the Lizard of Epic Win!

No, I mean the hidden song that was contained in the demo which was accessible with hex editing. I've tried changing the address which seemingly corresponds to the currently playing music track to 0x13 but nothing plays, unlike if I make the same change in the demo. So that made me think that you either removed it entirely or hid it differently.

Ah that one. No, sorry it was cut to make room for more sound effects in the final game. It is only present in the prototype demo.

Ah ok, that makes perfect sense. By the way, I'm a huge fan of this game and its soundtrack, the songs have been stuck in my head since I bought the game a week ago!

I wish the player momentum were a little different. You very quickly reach top speed, and have very little control over yourself in the air. In a game where you're expected to make full length jumps from one screen onto another that you can't see, slightly more forgiving air control would be nice~
