Good idea tractor, chcek my videos - homemade tractor

Oh cool a peerless 600 3 speed box. I have a couple of those but I honestly prefer the 700 series since they are a 5 speed and built identically. Love the rig!

Thats a nice antique little tractor to own.

I like your tractor, thought about building me a special purpose yard tractor. I like my little Kubota and it would be hard to build something better but I always wanted one I made with my own hands. I post all kinds of project videos but I can't think of anything better than homemade tractor videos. Thanks for posting, this is better than TV ever was.

i appreciate your reply , you right. if i havent pought the single cylinder 25 hp engine that has low / high speed . the clutch and speed isn't install yet .I didn't find where it suppose to be .

Dude! you gotta clutch when shifting! I have the same transmission and you have to clutch!

yeah, it work as a clutch xD

needs a clutch. That transmission is not designed to be shifted like that. The shift keys WILL break and fail.

A belt clutch with an idler pulley would work good.

i agree, trans will have a short life, jamming it in and out of gear, without a clutch!

I use this for snowplowing, hauling leafs and branches. Maybe next summer I make lawn mower attachment, you might wanna subscribe ;)

Looks like a peerless 700, typically a 4 or 5 speed unit.

I have bullied 25 bhp rpm 2200 engine it work fine but I did not understand how to make reverse since I don't know what did it need to go by doing just that . any ideas please
