My real dad was verbally and borderline mentally abusive. When my mom remarried I was a bit scared. But the man she married is an amazing man who I am so happy to call my daddy! He's been with us for 10 years. He didn't have to be a dad to me and my brother, but he did and I don't know where I'd be or if I'd even be alive right now if it weren't for him. I love you so much daddy. Thank you for being the man my mother needed, the father my brother needed and best friend, daddy and protector that I needed.

I don’t know my birth dad at all and my birth mom married my step dad and he abused me and touched me inappropriately and my mom made him leave and he did and he died I am glad that he died

I remember when this came one the radio when I was a little girl my dad would turn it up and sing to me. As a little girl I never cried when he sang to me but when it came on the radio this year my dad turned it up and sang it to me and I cried because I love my daddy. I'm 18 now so looking back I am glad he sang to me

My 16th birthday is coming up soon and I'm having a big sweet 16 party. This is the song for my daddy daughter dance. Every time we hear it, we cry. I love my daddy more than anything!!

This song makes me cry every time I hear it! I know I will bawl when I dance to this with my dad at my eventual wedding.

I see there are a lot of daddy's girls out there. I am one too, but I lost my dad 7 years ago. This song makes me cry, but not tears of sadness, tears of joy because I know how lucky I was to have been daddy's girl. I was always his "babe" till his death when I was 40 years old. Another song that I dedicate to "My little girl" though she's not even 4 yet. A couple days ago, I got visitation with my daughter reestablished and the joy of seeing her again in the very near future has been overwhelming. Needless to say, I am very excited and can't wait to see my precious baby girl for the first time in over 18 months!

My ex and I divorced when my kids were only 4 and 7 but the way I looked at it is that even though we're not husband and wife anymore, we are Mom and Dad forever! It took two of us to make them and it takes two of us to raise them. It makes me so angry when I hear stories about women keeping their children from their father, they are just hurting the children and depriving them of the father they need in their life😢. I'm so sorry for you and I really hope you get to see your daughter soon.🙏

This song always makes me cry because me and my dad used to listen to this in the car but then he moved away. Didn't want anything to do with me..but one day..I fly out to Oregon to surprise when I turned 12 and when we met again..we hugged for like what felt forever. I never wanted to let go. Now I get to see him everyday and my life has never been better with him.

i always put this song on when i wanna remember my little girl that only lived for her first couple yrs of her life she was born with alot of health problems including a hole in her heart and half a lung she was even lucky to make it as far as she did and now may she be blessed forever in gods arms amen daddy will see again someday
