In your own right, You have already achieved the highest level of music, which is playing music just for the joy of playing it which comes from the soul. Which reflects the quality, and how the music is played.

Hey Larry... just discovered you on KZread yesterday and am blown away by your version of "Baby, I'd Love you to Want Me"... Never heard it sung like that before.. I LOVE it!. it has struck a real chord with me...😊 Anyone who has grown up and lived with the music of the last 60+ years will definitely agree with all that you've said.. I would not be anywhere near your level musically... but I do strum along and sing a bit with my ukuleles.. I get great pleasure and a lot of comfort from it... It has been both a pleasure and a privilage to hear you sing and play.. Thankyou for putting out this video about your musical journey... All best wishes from Ireland.. ☘️ ❤😊👍🏽

Larry, as I sit here on my 56th birthday, I find myself watching you and this clip about your musical journey and only wish I could play and sing as well as you. I have watched you over the years because we have similar stories and tastes in music, including the loss of a brother. Thank you so much for taking the time to learn your songs and sharing your talent with us. You need to know that you have achieved your dream. You are the musician, like Glen Campbell, who has inspired so many like me who only wish we could be like you. Play on!!

Hi Larry . First success isn't always what we think it should be. I watched Glenn Campbell and Johnny heartford every week. I ran a guitar shop and even bought an ovation guitar. Guitar playing became an annoyance to those around me so I sat it aside for nearly twenty years. I now play several hours a day and build guitars in my spare time. When I want to play a song I look for your rendition. Your thoroughness and subtleties are as good as anyone I have ever heard. Thanks for you contributions and thank you for letting me know a little about the successful musician you are. From someone who studied classical guitar , taught guitar professionally and worked hard at it ,you are incredible.

I love you Larry ! No, I'm not gay. What I mean is I love your spirit and your attitude and your drive to be a great musician since you were a young child ! You ARE a great musician !!! That speech on your life is precious. Thank you for opening up like that. I used to listen to The Monkees and More of the Monkees over and over. Love them and Glen Campbell. I recorded him on Larry King singing his 6 biggest hits with just an acoustic guitar, no backing. Fantastic. I transferred it from VHS to digital so it's on my computer. If you want it, I'll send it to you. (I learned how to send large files through DropBox). Greatest concert I ever attended was Andy Williams at the Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford CT. Bought 2 tickets by calling PBS while watching a Christmas special to promote Andy Williams Christmas show. Lucked out - front row, center. He kept looking at me and my wife. Real cool. Sang his best Christmas songs - to us. OMG. Anyway, you are my main inspiration now. The way you play and sing. Such a high level of expertise. So many little things you do in songs that probably many people might not pick up on. What you're doing on You Tube is VERY IMPORTANT ! Please keep doing it. Thank you Larry !!!

Phil PrH Larry I have just watched this video and I have to say it just demonstrates your passion for music and most importantly your guitar playing. Over the years I have watched your youtube videos and you are an inspiration for anyone who has aspirations about learning guitar, I was 29 years old when a 50 year old friend of mine told me he had bought a guitar and was having private lessons, I had never considered this as something I wanted to do but I did like singing, so I thought I would give it try and bought a Spanish nylon strung cheap guitar. I took up a night school class and then later some private lessons at and the age of 35 I had a family and a very busy job and the two guitars I owned only got used now and then and finally 10 years later went into storage and not used again for 15 years. We later moved house and area and one night I went into this bar and a guitarist was the entertainer and he was covering all the sixties songs that loved and I started wishing I had never stopped so at the age of sixty I started again, and I am still doing it now (not as good as you though) I am now 73 and still not very good at it but just enjoy trying.

Hey Larry, Wanted to say when I was a young twenty year old, I was driving out to move to Santa Fe, NM from Louisiana by myself, it was nearing sunset across the vast open land of northern Texas and Wichita Lineman came on the radio. A most beautiful feeling came over me as I drove and listened, and I fell very much in love with the song. Within Glen Campbell's voice in Wichita Lineman lives a most beautiful compassionate spirit. I know, I heard it that late summer afternoon in 1974.

Hi Larry. I enjoyed your story and the genuine way you told it. Like you, music has been my life, and always will be. I was looking for some Gordon Lightfoot covers and came across this video. I'm glad I did. Even though its a little melancholy it put me in a good mood to know that there are others out there who feel the way I do. Now I'll listen to your music... it seems I have a lot to choose from! In my opinion people like Glen Campbell are born great. Yes, they work hard and refine their craft but when all's said and done they also have 'something' that the rest of us don't have, and will never have. So I say do your own thing, enjoy it and let others enjoy it too. Best wishes.

Thank you so much Larry. I really enjoy the music you play and you play and sing very well. Fame and fortune is not the gift. Music is and you have the gift. I was born several years after you, 1963, but I have a lot of the same influences. I love Johnny Mathis. Andy Williams too. I really enjoy going through all your covers because all of them evoke a feeling. That's what makes an artist. Evoking feelings in the listener or observer. You have this gift too. I play the guitar also but I haven't put 1 % of the passion and determination that you have into the art. As the saying goes, "I don't play guitar because I am good at it. I play because I like it". You can really see your love for the music that you play and... you are good at it too. Thanks again Larry and keep playing.

Larry, I’ve always enjoyed your immense talents, and think of you whenever I watch anybody that has talent, but not yet discovered by the masses. You left us a while ago, but thankfully through the miracle of video recording, and you gifting us with your fine efforts, you’re always with us, on demand, 24/7. I take comfort knowing that, and I thank you. I even like hearing you talk, sharing your life, interested in hearing whatever you have to say. RIP Larry, thank you so much for sharing. I hope there is something for us after we finish up on this earth. I hope to hear you play again. Your anecdote about Glen Campbell was terrific, because like you, he made me want to play. I remember walking up to the drugstore to buy some hairspray so I might get my hair to look like his. I, unlike you, didn’t have the talent, or the drive after I got kicked out of band in 6th or 7th grade because I had zero natural talent. I figured the teacher was right, no Hollywood script here, because my parents were not, or maybe did not know how to, reinforce and support my struggle. For anyone seeking Larry’s obituary, it can be found online. His full name to search is Larry Ludwikowski.

Thanks for sharing Larry. I've been to Reading a few times. We live in the Anthracite Coal Region about an hour or so away. I too am of Polish descent and went to Catholic school but we won't talk about that lol I was born in 1953 and am ever so thankful for living in what I consider the best decade for music EVER, the 60's. Love your videos. You are doing exactly what you should be doing. Few of us can boast such a life.:o)

Larry, thanks for sharing. Born 1958 myself, your story is much like mine. For me, you're right up there with +Jim Croce, James Taylor, Bobby Goldsboro and yes, +Glen Campbell. Your renditions touches our hearts and brings back fond memories. That goes beyond any measurement of success. God blessed you with a wonderful gift.

Larry L, Thanks so much for this video bio. You are a joy to watch and listen to. It is really great to hear the story of you becoming and being a musician. Many of your videos inspire me to practice more often, to try a little harder and hope one day to play like you. I know this is an old video but wow man, you moved me.

Larry, thanks for sharing. I saw Jimmy Webb Saturday night (in a very small venue!) and he talked a lot about his life and his feelings about Glen Campbell. It was so touching. He said he never meet another musician that was so musically able as Glen.

I took clarinet in high school and l was in senior band in grade 9. I spent all my free time practising, took piano as well. But l mostly liked to play by ear and from 5 years of age l absolutely loved music. It is so interesting to hear your story Larry, because l think when you discover that you have a gift and the sky is the limit, it is the most beautiful journey to take in your whole life! You are so gifted, and l love your voice, your playing, all very well done! Thank you again, Larry.

Larry I saw this when you originally posted it but revisited it today by happenstance. You have achieved quite a bit but more importantly you've brought joy to this world with your musical talent. That is an awesome thing my friend! You continually amaze with with the variety of your performances. And yes your rendition of "Wichita Lineman" would delight Mr. Campbell as much as it does me.

Fascinating. Im close to your age so I can relate to much of your story. I also got an Andy Williams album for Xmas as a Kid and played it to death. I also did the morning face in the old stereo rocking Dave Clark 5 lol . OMG I also had the little recorder machine and taped tunes endlessly. I too feel an intense love for music.... Still do. My folks from The South so I too worshipped Glen Campbell. Wichitaw Lineman still gives me chills to this day. Played that album to death as well. Saw him front row and I was in heaven. You are amazing! Thanks for the joy you share, you are a divine talent. Gee so much fun listening to you. Stay well~

Hi Larry, I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoyed hearing about your life and how much I truly enjoy your music. You and I share a love for music and I too can remember spending every dime I had buying 45s and albums when I was a child and a teenager. I still have all of my 45s and albums. You, my friend, are a true talent and you sing and play beautifully. I often like your version of a song better than the original. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. By the way, Glen Campbell is one of my favorites as well.

You have my respect Mr.; L. Like you I too have a deep passion for the music. As long as you continue to upload, I'll continue to listen and enjoy. Thank you for all the wonderful covers. Please continue to make music. I have a physical disability called Cerebral Palsy, that limits me from everyday activities like everyone else. Your videos have touched me inside and kept me strong. The music you cover is some of my favorites... The oldies. Thank you so much for putting smiles on me and my mom's faces. With much respect... -Kyle D.
