As a pharmacist, I can say without any hesitation that pharmacy techs are the Robins to our Batman. We wouldn’t make it without them ❤️ Real heroes!

Hospital Teching is the BEST. I’ve been a tech for 12 years and 5 of them have been inpatient. As of June 1st, I’ll be moving over to our new cancer center as an oncology tech.

Hey Laura how are you doing
Thanks, Emma, for sharing your story! It is inspirational.
Bless your heart, wanting to go into veterinary medicine but the road was too long 💗I’m sure it was expensive too. So happy you’re living the life you deserve!
As a pharmacy tech for 20 years, this job is not for the faint of heart lol...honestly a great Crew is essential. At first your Brain will want to explode but it is a good job, good pay, and you'll get out of it what you put in. Keep updated and ask your pharmacist to teach you things even if you are not legally allowed to use the knowledge, it will help your work ten fold! I guess it depends which company you work for but you'll find what place is the best fit. Good luck newbies!
agree we are needed
Best wishes to this young lady. I'm looking into picking up a new skill and came across this video.
Some states do require you to complete an approved class so check with your board of pharmacy. You get registered with your state, then you sit for your national certification test. Two different processes.
Love her story.
As a pharmacy major tech certified for 17years, i like this,i'm very exieted, i encouraged you, it's the best
Thats brilliant. I like her story its very encouraging.
Thank you for this video. It was informative. I left the childcare field after 9 years. I had no idea what to do. But then I applied at Walgreens for pharmacy tech apprentice and I start Monday. I’m so excited and I know I’m going to love this new career change.

Hello Do not be bored, I would love to know the job status of pharmaceutical technicians and work in pharmacies and their legal status I am a pharmaceutical technician with 12 years of experience and I like to do research in all countries Thank you very much if you answer
I will do this as a part time job. Wondering if I’m too late (or to old)??😩 I’m 44.
Will you please share to me the book to get to become a technical pharmacist. Thanks!
I got hired at a Walmart supercenter about 2 months ago as a pharmacy technician trainee without certification. They will help pay for the test and even put me through their online program to help with the test. So far I like it. How should I start preparing for the test? I bought a book that’s called Test prep book PTCB exam study guide. Will that alone help me pass the test or should I also buy and study a coursework book that goes deeper into the subject?

@@janstrip8926 I passed the test on my first try. That was in July 2021 of last year that I passed. I now work at a inpatient pharmacy in a hospital. It’s better than retail and pays more.
It is sad and a shame to see how bad the pharmacy technicians are paid with all the many and different tasks they do and level of reponsabilities and care is demanded from them
