Hi I'm Ellie and I have a LEGO minidoll collecting problem. Kidding, it's only a problem if you make it one! And I'm totally embracing it. The Friends reboot brought us diversity like you wouldn't believe, there are six different skin tones and minidolls representing physical and neurodiverse differences. It's revolutionary. If this is where the next generation of Friends sets start, where is it going to head in the future? So.exciting.
If you've just dropped by, I'm Ellie! Lego is an artistic medium and no matter your building expertise there is something here for everyone. Stick around and I'll build for you while I review new sets and create my own customs (MOCs). I tend to geek out about new pieces, get excited about learning new and interesting building techniques, giggle too much and just generally ramble. I'm easily distracted so things can get a bit hectic, but I'm sure you're down for that.

Amazing video Ellie! I really wanted to see them all together! So many new outfits and diversity, skintones, faces, lego went all out with these for sure! I didn't realise how many side characters we've got, and also Zack's face in Nova's room.... I was shocked! Can't wait for the new sets and the new minidolls in June. Have a nice day!

It's fun to see all the new prints on these torsos front and back, especially Liann's vest is my favorite.The characters are more diverse than I realized too. I remember when there were only maybe 2 skintones. I was so surprised that they made a girl with vitiligo. I've seen that done with dolls like Barbie, Rainbow High, and Smartdoll, never thought TLG would go there. It's actually kind of commendable how much variety there is among these minidolls.

I did know that they were making it more diverse and that it was going to be the next generation
I have autumns house, the cat hotel, unity street, school, mobile tiny house, and a few others. And a lot from previous years, plus a bunch of custom hpuses.... i think i like lego😄
SO LUCKY 😮 That is my dream to collect all of that but sadly I don't have much money to buy 😢. But atleast i get to see someone who has it , makes me happy ❤

It’s fun to see all the different characters in different clothes. And it’s also nice to see that they have made some changes and disabilities on the characters. I wonder how many characters they will be in the second wave? Thanks so much for sharing this with us 🤗👍🏻

We just went birthday shopping for my sister and OMG! Our local mall is now stocked with new lego friends summer sets! (Well only one shop that is usually the first to be in stock in any new items) We were able to get our hands on the pancake shop and the botanical garden! Once you get the botanical garden, You WILL fall in love. The panda cake shop is also adorable! (The sign on the top was small enough for a minidoll to eat😂) Also, good on you lego, for including some new skin tones! As well as the new races. We are having more disabled characters which add so much more flare and also makes lego friends so much more realistic. I would love for lego to create a hijabi girl. That would be AMAZING. We already have some Indian characters, Asian,European and Pacifica characters. Like Koa, Priyanka and Liann. So a hijabi character? We’ll leave the decision to lego. Keep up the good work Ellie. Cannot wait to see you build the new summer sets. Btw, in New Zealand, the community center is $256😱 (Not surprising as it’s New Zealand.) So make sure to look at those prices😂
I love summary videos like this, so useful and interesting! I must say my favourite character from the main 8 must be definitely Nova, her colour scheme and style is simply absolutely gorgeous. Minor characters that I really like are Riley, Isabella and Matilde - they all look so elegant. I just wish LEGO would finally create a suitable hair colour for people with honey blonde hair (as I'm one of them). Can't wait for the next year brings. ~Wavey ;)

I need 6/8 main characters, and I want Luna, Fiona, and Jordyn. Also, SUPER COOL, Fiona is a character from the forest version of the main characters in their show! She liked horses, and look it up, she could look like she does in the sets! Isn't that so neat?

I would love to see that! I’ve been collecting since 2012 with no where near all the sets and I have a lot of minidolls so I could imagine it being quite difficult to do

@@Hello-sn9gn I think the easiest way to do this is you make a stand for every year and than in one video you show the ones from 2012 to 2017 sequentially and in the other video you the ones from 2018 to 2022. On the youtube Channel Brick Sets you can find a playlist with all sets from 2012 to 2022.
