Only a short ride (28 kms) but there was an 'interesting' incident......
Update on the road rule that I mention: the 1 metre clearance that motor vehicles are supposed to give us cyclists applied only in built-up areas, i.e. towns, cities, etc.
Outside urban areas the distance is 1.5 metres!
I only found out this little bit of info quite recently.
