Where to buy:
The VP9 and the Setago can be purchased at "Old Faithful" in Vancouver.
Or you can get them online. I have used "Finnish Design Shop".

As you hinted at expensive 'keeper' lamps becomes economical in the long run. Every so often Ikea introduces an aesthetic gem sanely priced as usual.

Ya the Ikea lamp I have the DEJSA I see myself having for a while, and it's affordable which is nice lol
I too have an obsession with lights. Particularly colour changing ones. It's really rather illogical though because I soon tire of the gimmicky colour changing modes and generally switch to plain white. I have all types. Some are electrically operated, some have batteries and some are solar. The last two are useful if you don't want trailing cables everywhere, and yes, we do have get enough sunshine to charge them here in The UK !

Hey I actually have one of yours. The IKEA Solvinden. I use them as bias lighting for my Plasma TV. For my PC monitor I use similar ones, the IKEA LED candles.. 🙂 I often sit in my room only with those candles/lanterns on 🙂
