I've always thought of it this way: American skincare is best for acne-prone skin, French skincare is best for anti-aging, & Korean skincare is best for sunscreen & a disrupted skin barrier / dry skin.

Korean skincare has a wide range of products that address everything from anti aging to acne to moisture to sun protection…with the highest efficacy of quality ingredients at affordable prices. They do much more than only address skin barrier issues and sun protection. American skincare is overpriced and diminished quality in my opinion.

Living in Europe and being able to buy that products w/o a problem, I have to say that Caudalie has some products that are insanely overrated. For example that face mist. There's a French KZreadr who is, if I remember correctly, chemist and has worked on developing many French skincare products. He said that Caudalie's skin mist is soooo overpriced because there's nothing special in it.... Just saying 🤷🏻‍♂️ On the other hand, the same company has some amazing face creams. Well, tbh, I have one special in mind, but they've changed the formula and, when you read the reviews, majority of people are very p*ssed because the old formula was pure perfection. I've tried both versions (I've bought, not knowingly they've made a change, the "we've slightly changed the formulation" one and was a bit disappointed. It was OK, but the old one was amazing). Idk why companies change something that was already perfect 😭 Nevertheless, you've made an excellent video! Thank you! ❤

The Caudalie mist is just full of alcohol denat. I never understood the hype around it. They do have good face masks in my opinion. @@BeautyWithin You're so sweet for answering "wholeheartedly". Usually every answer from a big content creator is quite generic 😬 You won't believe it, but despite living in Europe, I absolutely love "Mary&May: Idebanone moisturiser". As I've mentioned in my previous comment, I've loved that Caudalie Cashmere night cream, but the old version. I don't know why do they have to meddle into something that was working perfectly!!? The old one was one of those you put before sleep and in the morning you're pleasantly shocked with how great you look. I cannot remember when I've stumbled across something similar... Isn't it a fantastic feeling: you're going to the bathroom in the morning and when you see yourself in the mirror, you are on awe how good your skin looks like!!?! 😱 Sending you lots of love from Croatia

Hiiii, totally worth mentioning about the types of ginseng used in skincare! We've definitely noted for brands like BoJ, to make it more accessible and affordable for people, they use lower grade, cultivated ginseng, compared to the luxury creme-de-la--creme wild ginseng used in brands like History of Whoo, Sulwhasoo, Dongbini etc., who commonly have their own R&D centers solely focusing on ginseng innovation. So I guess it comes down to what works for each persons skin and what's available to each person within their budget to make a decision. Definitely agree there is a huge US hype around BoJ especially from their sunscreens. @saram.8671 defs recommend trying Sulwhasoo if you're a ginseng fanatic since they readily sell it at Sephora as well, and specializes it's research in ginseng formulations. Other brands like History of Whoo and Dongbini are a little more difficult to get in the US - fel 💗
