    My first time Kayaking and this Kayak held strong. kzread.infoUgkx4k5UrhC3v_Y4hIEaXLGvHcN5a5aBmZNB The water got pretty rough as a speed boat zipped by me, and the Kayak withstood it (I expected to be capsized). The Ores are very easy to put together, the pump worked beautifully. the seats are a bit hard to sit in after a while (I recommend sitting on the floor). after reading the reviews I was very scared it'd get a hole in it, the material is very strong and durable. The Air valve may need a small Phillips head screwdriver to adjust, other than that, it's well worth the money!(update)I've gone Kayaking in 3 Lakes and 2 rivers totaling about 40 miles. the kayak had two holes and they patched easily and no other problems can't wait for kayaking season this year!

    Hi, dig your rig, if not pedaling I certainly wouldn't spend Hobie $ either. Maybe an Old Town PDL someday? Not sure if you run into trees or low bridges like I did, but adding horizontal rod storage was my biggest game changer. If I carry 4, I'll rig so I can throw 2 or 3 quickly into their holsters. Check out YakAttack SideArm Track Mount; you can do a hi-low setup on 1 side...my next upgrade.

    Nice video. I would test out that milk crate behind your seat with some "test" items and tip over your yak in the water. I don't believe those type of bungee cords will keep it secured to the chair if jostled around upside down in water, but i could be wrong. I have fished out of second hand blemished post rental kayaks for years and have just recently increased the fleet as the kids have got older and outgrown riding in the kiddie seat on a malibu x-13. Good to have goals. I finally got myself a Old Town PDL 120 and it comes with new challenges of transporting multiple kayaks to the water. I got a trailer that i'm about to start converting it to a kayak trailer. I'm hoping by next season (i'm in the north) i'll have it ready for action and be able to hit the water alot more often than I have this year. Keep the videos rolling in. They are of good quality and content.

  • @LunkerHunter

    @LunkerHunter

    10 ай бұрын

    Thanks! I will try that. You’re probably right about them not holding the crate if I tipped the boat. I haven’t had that issue, but I have come close enough that I ought to take it more seriously. I have heard great things about the Old Town PDL 120. A bit heavier than your typical rental kayak huh? Haha. One day I will probably get a Native kayak, and I will have to reconsider transportation as well. I hope you get to get out on the water more. It’s good for the soul! Thanks for the support. I will keep the videos coming!

    The cart I made is MUCH cheaper, and is actually a smoother ride than the YakHacker cart, but the YakHacker cart is made to break down easier. I have had no issues with either. If I were to choose between one or the other based on price and functionality, I’d go with the cart I made. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!

    Same kayak upgrades: Replaced all screws and bolts with eye holes screw. They fit better and are multi use. Wheel only lasts 2-3 years but can be replaced. If you run over a rock 🪨 STOP ✋ or you will ruin wheel. Seat WILL BRAKE ALL APART ! Zip ties everywhere will fix broken stitches. Don’t put anything in dry hatch it will move around and will leak because of paddle holder holes. Paddle holder holes leak Skupper plugs can be filled with soft golf balls. I do it under butt so don’t get splashed.

    Man that was an awesome video you did on your kayak man. You have a nice kayak setup there. I just put me up a Lifetime Teton Angler 100 over the summer for me. My wife & 6 boys got the same kayak 2 years ago & they love it Especially my wife Who did not like river water. But since she went kayaking with her coworker's & realized that it wasn't bad as she thought it was she fell in love with kayaking & Bought herself a kayak. My family & my wife co worker family we all get to together & go kayak fishing & kayak camping. I like how you did this video being barefooted 👣 man. My family we are a barefooted 👣 family. I have big very very Extremely wide feet 🦶 & my 6 boys have very wide feet 🦶 as well & all 7 of us are barefooted 👣 every day & on weekends all day long. I can't wear shoes because my toes are Evenly straight across making my foot very very Extremely wide at 6 1/2 inches wide & because of my toes being Evenly straight across they don't make a shoes that is wide enough for my foot but my 6 boys can still wear shoes but they all hate to wear shoes because it crushes and hurts their toes so all 7 of us Either are wearing flip flops 🩴 or we are barefooted 👣. We all even kayak barefooted 👣 because it's more comfortable to kayak. Good video buddy thanks you for sharing it. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos.
