My journey to Smith Island

Starting at Point Lookout State Park in Southern Maryland, my friends and I embark on a day's adventure to explore Smith Island, MD. The boat ride from Point Lookout to Smith Island is approx. 1.5 hours each way, and you have about 2.5 hours to explore the island. We enjoyed a delicious crabcake platter lunch followed by some free roaming of the island and chatting with the locals. It is an experience from start to finish, like stepping back in time. People on the island are friendly and courteous and have stories to share if you're willing to listen.

¡Muchas gracias, sí, también lo disfruto más! es divertido, se suponía que esta era una forma de compartir mis aventuras con los nietos para cuando me haya ido algún día y haya evolucionado un poco a partir de eso jajaja. ¡Planeo volver a acampar muy pronto! ¡¡Gracias por ver!!

Thank you for taking us along on your journey how ridiculous about the restaurant what a shame that it took away at least an hour of your time to see the place but I'm happy that you are able to go and I hope that you will go back take a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in a backpack and spend more time exploring the very best to you, always

Thanks, Greg! Yeah, the waitress was on day 3 and she was struggling. We still gave her a great tip for encouragement in her new job and made the best of it. I do plan to go back and spend the night in the future. Thanks for watching.
