damn you are amazing, im in lower sixth right now, i got 7A*'s and 3A's in my GCSE's, and im just about to do my AS exams. I'm also looking to apply to Cambridge , do you have any advice on the personal statement?

What was your part time job in the pharmacy’s?

Did you have any previous work experience before applying for medicine. If so, do you think having that extra experience is beneficial?

Yeah I did working part time in a pharmacy and spending time shadowing in GP. I think it’s very useful for helping you to find out if it’s the right career for you and giving you insight as to what the job could entail 😊

All the colleges have mostly similar interview processes, some do let senior students sit in but we are not on the Peterhouse interview panel

lucy c in the UK 4/5 of your UCAS applications can be for medicine so a lot of people use the 5th choice for another course they would be happy doing. Alternatively some people choose to defer a year and reapply for medicine in the next academic year!

I have very little knowledge about this process, so apologies if my question is ignorant. But how can you get an offer from Cambridge, but not from Leeds, Edinburgh, and other places?

Do you know if i need to do English literature? Because I’m planning on only doing english language for GCSE, and im only doing 6 GCSES will that be enough?

Its alright as long as you do well in your core subjects, thats if you want to do medicine

Don’t worry! Plenty of people (including me) tool art/photography/etc at GCSE and get into medicine/Oxbridge

No one hugely cares about what GCSEs you did as long as you have both English GCSEs, Triple Science GCSEs and Maths GCSEs.

I studied medicine for 3 years and left it 😂
