I everytime i see pokemon emerald i deeply regret the day i traded it in at a gamecrazy store before they went out of bussines. That one cutscene with rayquaza blew me away. I was 11 at the time now im 29 jesus christ time flies!

Happy birthday Chase! I've been watching you for years and I gotta say, you always end up picking my favourite things. (And always have the best socks). I have a mostly complete (not all CIB though) Pokemon game collection that I have spent years slowly collecting. I would buy one game to play and then pick up the other later on when it went down in price. Some of the prices now are insane, so I'm glad I did what I did. The only ones I'm missing are some of the Switch games because the price does not drop!

I’ve got the Pokémon Emerald grail myself. The big box copy exclusive to Walmart that came with a Rayquaza GB SP case. Typically worth around 1k-1.5k depending on condition. Pretty rare so most collectors don’t even know about it and I’m glad to have it in my Pokémon collection of card’s and games.

Usually the cover art is plain/cheaper paper instead of a glossy finish, overall lower quality print

why on earth is Goodwill individually pricing games? every Goodwill i've been in down here has signs up in their media section stating Games - $1.99 or $2.99. I've never seen individually priced games in a thrift where the item was DONATED. That blew my mind.
