I love the underlying sentiment, honesty and humility in this story of transformation of the Shaykh. The respect he shows for all his teachers, regardless of their background, is heartwarming. We need more like this. His description of going to the Zawiya was hilarious. I don't really comment on videos but felt compelled to this time.

HE USED TO GO TO SCHOOL WITH MY BROTHER AND AFTER SCHOOL THEY WENT BASKETTING 🏀 A DECADE (OR MORE) HE LIVED BEHIND MY CORNER. A SWEET AND HUMBLE GUY WHO WENT TROUGH A LOT THAT TIME. RESPECT FOR THAT MAN, HE DIDN'T STAND STILL BUT CONTINUED TO LEARN AND BETTER HIMSELF! 👍🏻💯

A lot of important points. Very similar to my journey after sitting and benefiting from different Salafi scholars in the Yemen, Egypt and KSA

جزاك الله خيرا ، الله يعطيك العفو والعافية والتوفيق في الدنيا والآخرة استاذ فن آل I completely agree with the last part. But unfortunately not that it is obligatory to follow a madhab. Ultimately, we are Muslims and we should try not to blindly follow a certain group or party. Respecting each other and treating each other well is one of the best deeds to Allah for a Muslim.

Subhanallah, Shaykh stands on the shoulders of giants - and as always, we benefit from his journey and knowledge. May Allah ﷻ make the ranks of Shaykh Sulayman and all his teachers better than our estimation of them.

The children of Adam AS did not give birth to children with defects yet if a brother and sister were to conceive a child in this day and age, there would be a birth defect, Likewise the madhabs were good for all that followed them as they were grassroot and the salafis (Those who are almost making a new madhab) cannot duplicate what was made in the past without huge defects.

21 books on the Zaydīyya subhanallah wish i could hear the sheikhs thoughts on ahlul bayt and the zaydi madhhab etc... as a convert i feel the ahlu bayt are not spoke about enough.. and they were opposed in islamic history.. why do we not have a madhhab that represents the opinions of the early ahlul bayt and the amal of bani hashim

I watched yr video till the end. 😁👍 Myself born muslim and grown up with understanding of shafie but luckily my country is far from middle east , i.e. we dont inherit hatred between mazhab and our stand is usually do not get extreme with only one opinion. Majority of our aqidah is ashari and maturidiah however understanding of salafi in al quran and hadith through understanding of companions becoming more appealing. My advice to you … even you’re more knowledgable and pious compare to me …. is dont be too extreme with one opinion only. All previous scholars have done their best to be close to al quran and hadith in their time and we do our best with sincere heart validate all of their opinions that closest to al quran and hadith. Do not get extreme with only one mazhab and label the others that is not inline with you as kafir, that is extreme. For me, it is normal that student of knowlwdge love their scholar who give knowledge and defend their scholar but to call or label kafir is inappropriate. We’ve to understand that even though all 4 mazhabs are greatest but they’re also a human that have short coming and weaknessess. I read all books as well but when there is a different opnion at one particular subject, i would prefer to the understanding of companions in understanding the comandments in al quran and hadith. Love watching from Malaysia. Assalamualaikum.
