This! I used to love MVMT, but I eventually got a Seiko 5 for £90, bought a nice mesh strap for it on amazon for £10 and it is easily the best looking watch I've owned. Plus the obvious benefit of it being automatic.

I find that Tevin Vincent is a nice step up from ASOS or Topman as I feel out what kind of rings and jewelry i like. I’ve only recently tried them out but so far so good. I think I’ll check out more local vintage/thrift shops to team up some pieces

I have the Rose ring from the great frog pricetag at £190. At first for that price is abit too much and I never bought anything from them before. But Harry Styles have the same ring so i got one too. AND IT WAS WORTH IT! Super nice handmade and quality.

I have three 14k gold rings I always wear. They're custom made with viking inspired motifs (I'm scandinavian). And a 14k gold necklace with a very small solid gold coin on it. Always wear that under my t-shirt though. I struggle big time with rings though, as my fingers swell up like crazy when I get hot. Like 2+ sizes up. So with cold fingers, my rings are too large, and when I'm sweating, sometimes I can barely get them off. It's crazy.

You should look into Mondaine and Braun Watches if you like the minimal aesthetic with a great design history

Have you ever tried white gold? Yellow and rose gold do not look good on me, but I have a few white gold rings that I like mainly because they're close to silver. Mine are not rhodium plated, however, because I don't like plated things, but it is a common industry standard if you don't mind plating. You can also usually request to not have a ring plated, especially if it's being custom made. Also, if that's not your thing, they also make green gold and even blue and purple gold if you're into that, but they can be very hard to find.

I appreciate this video my guy. I’m wondering how you go about choosing the sizes to buy when starting a collection of rings. I would imagine most guys are like me and they have a different size for each finger. Do you just buy one size of ring and try to cram them on each finger, or do you buy each ring with the intention of always putting it on the same finger?

Just take the time to measure your sizes, using some string/paper. What I found is I have a few similar fingers, so I’ll order one that should fit a few, and then u can see how accurate your measurements actually were by trying it on different fingers

Jewelry is definitely nothing to skimp out on. Same as you when I first started getting into jewelry I bought 3 pack of rings on ASOS for 10 dollars 😂 and I’ll tell you rn that I didn’t last that long

I built a small ring collection after I came across Native American jewelry. Widely unknown in Europe. Most rings have a gemstone such as turquoise or onyx. Good places to look for are treasuresofthesouthwest.com and alltribes.com. Silversmithing is a traditional craft at the Navajos, Hopi and Zuni. The traditional designs are not quite minimalistic but also not as baroque and frilly as i.e. some traditional Arabian designs. Maybe something for you?
