Great Christmas dinner. I would have had cabbage and/or Callaoo. I’m a big vegetable eater as well. Not all veggies but I like to see greens at my table. Girl, I would have been knocked out after cooking all this food. Happy New Year “2022” to you all!!

People shocked we fire up the BBQ at -Xmas (we do kwanzaa) so it's nice to see how another Jamaican in the uk does it..... so much we do so similar n yes I know exactly what it is to cook n have no appetite.. everything looks beautiful 😍

Nice spread. Yes that will happy when you go all out cooking, you end up so tired. That was what happeded to me but I managed to eat and enjoy the food , stuffed like a turkey, lol. Had dessert about 1/2 an hour after eating. Happy New Year.🎉

@@arlenehoward7638 To be honest, I've never seen rice and peas done like that before either. At the beginning it looked like it was gonna be a stew peas or something right? But Trinis make a dish called pelau , a one pot meal, but for it to be true pelau it would have needed pumpkin and carrots or either I think. One thing though I know now to be careful with rice and peas too. Growing up as a Jamaican who didn't eat red meat, many a time for meals both at my house and other ppls, the only thing I COULD eat WAS the rice and peas and I was ok with that. I didn't expect ppl to cook two pots because of me. ROTFL. Me just haffi go eat at mi yard first.

The only thing I didn't care for was ketchup and sugar cooking the oxtail.
