My Interview with Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory star Paris Themmen (Mike Teavee)
Today I sat down with Paris Themmen who played Mike Teavee in the Cult classic 1970 movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. We discussed everything from the very start of his career on Broadway starring in the Rothschilds and Mame, Paris talks about what it was like to work alongside legendary actor Gene Wilder. I was able to break down each scene of Willy Wonka with Paris and learn things about this classic movie that has not been made public before, the famous boat scene, the conditions Gene would only agree on to film the Movie, the audition, Roald Dahl, the crazy hate against loveable Grandpa Joe and much much more. Paris is a great guy. I've seen quite a few interviews with him and he always gives 100%. It's comforting to know that there are still people like Paris in the world.

I knew Paris hair would be like rapunzel one day…
Why act as though the 2005 film doesn't exist? Aside from nostalgia it kind of blows the '71 version out of the water.
