Switching to dual monitors has really helped me with editing and being able to open browser folders and the editor at the same time... Love your setup is sick btw !!

Man I been saying this for a while I would literally copy the setup play by play

I have that same camera and it dies even with a dummy battery Can you please tell me why lol. I’ve tried 3 diff batteries 😊

I have the same monitor stand, and I use two Sithon storage trays that fit perfectly flush like drawers on the long side of the bottom space.

Your A7IV never overheats with your livestream setup/recording?

PLEASE ANSWER THIS! I currently have a Sony A7IV, rode caster pro, a shure mic, and a cloud lifter. I have been debating on whether I should get the Sony K3M. I believe it would save me a lot of time because I record a lot of talking head videos. My question is can I connect my rode caster and a cloud lifter to the K3M? The reason I ask is because I don’t want my cloud lifter to go to waste but at the same time I’m willing to pay the $600 to save me a lot of the time not having to sync audio. Would you advise I get the Sony K3M (money not being a problem) if I already have a rode caster and a cloud lifter?

Can you share what cable you use for the K3m? @thinkmedia I also have a Sony a7iv and want to connect the k3m to my roadcaster duo, can you share which cable I need to buy?

Got a question what do you use to power everything just the CalDigit TS3 Plus Thunderbolt 3 Dock? You don’t use a PC?

That is an amazing setup. I thought about putting my camera on my desk for videos, the problem for me is that my bed would be in the background and that's almost never made.

My OCD is killing me if I push the camera in between the monitors. I'm thinking about getting a good flex arm there which would allow to temporarily move the camera in front of the screen, but sure, then some part of the screen is covered.

Different question, hope you respond. Why does youtube export, where does it go. Is there a difference on computer v phone?

does anyone know of a video that not only talks about the equipment, but the purpose of each thing, eg. why have a second monitor?

I've been wrestling with a question for a bit. I plan on shooting all my KZread videos at my desk, and plan to live stream. Is there a compelling reason to record audio/video to the camera SD card vs recording it on the computer (via StreamYard or OBS or something similar)? Unless there is a difference in video resolution I don't see why recording to the SD card then transferring to the computer for editing is a more compelling option than simply recording directly on to the computer. Is there something I am missing?

your lens is 28mm but with that distance, I see it covers the wall behind. I have a 24-70 but even at 24 my wall doesn't appear wider.

Do you have a crop sensor camera or full frame? Full frame will provide a wider shot.

Have you been having any issues with the headphones? I have been hearing a lot of people have had issues with pieces on the headphone band breaking.

Which stands are you using for the camera and light, and are they mounted to your desk?

Streamyard really needs to have a way to export as vertical format and arrange host/cohost/guests so they aren’t all only side by side.

You can design your own backgrounds to have co-hosts and guests where you want them and other elements like the full screen size. There are videos on their channel and other channels how to do it.

@@zodiaceng I think you may have to record in the vertical custom layout that you created. But you still get a full screen recording too from your local recording file

It depends on what kind of content you intend to produce (shooting locations and environment, recorded vs. live streaming), honestly.

The battery door doesn't close when using a dummy battery. A little annoying but it works just fine

@@omarcelopaixaoThey do have the little flap on the door so the battery compartment could still be closed, even when using a dummy battery. I don’t know about his particular model, but my Sony ZVE10, a5100, a6000, etc all have it, can’t imagine his does not.
