I've been looking at Craft Room layouts and storage ideas for a while and I'm so glad I came across yours - by far the nicest one I've seen and as I'm in the UK I'm thankful that most of the stuff you have is from IKEA! Sometimes on videos people mention stores and products that we don't have here so it's good to know that good old IKEA was your go-to place! Also loving that you have no reasoning behind the chocolates on your desk. No explanation needed - treats are a must! TFS xxx

I've watched a lot of craft room tours and this is the best!! Everything is explained so well and Mr. Awesome is a great videographer. And the stamp room is just so amazing. I am excited to plan some changes to my own space! First, I have to get my own Mr. Awesome on board. I think showing him this video might just do it!

Great stamp room Connie. I am very fortunate to have an entire kitchen to use for my craft room. We have an up and down duplex but no real need to rent the 2nd portion. Oh wow...lovin' your craft room! I have the "top" of an old chest of drawers for my die & stamping area. It works great, but I do get things piled up on it due to the limited space. Thanks for your fun tour, as I did get a couple of ideas for my space, too!!

Wonderful stamp room. Gorgeous to look at and functional. I work on a long wooden table and when I needed more space I too 'went up'. Had my husband build me a free standing shelf that sits on the back part of the table which is next to a wall. Made my table much more functional.

Lovely space, I love how you went for a standing desk. I find myself standing mostly while I craft, but it wouldn't have occurred to me to use anything other than a standard desk....until now! Thank you

Hi Connie ~ Thanks for sharing your awesome space! My son's girlfriend got me an awesome rolling cart from IKEA for Christmas to keep my regularly used items in and I love it! (The closest IKEA to me is about 2 hours away.) My oldest daughter is an Architect and gutted her kitchen when she bought her first house and redid the kitchen with ALL IKEA items....cabinets, counters....the entire thing. And she LOVES those quiet-close drawers!! Wish I had those when the kids were growing up! You and Mr. Awesome did a fantastic job organizing and building your craft space....it's truly spectacular!! (Especially the chocolate!!) Enjoy!

Love your craft room. I too am a stand up crafter and my benches are kitchen cabinet height too. I move around too much to sit and craft and I can stand and walk in there for hours on end. Love it.

No worries, all the ladies bemoaning not having a Mr. Awesome, it's not so hard to find a handyman to install the cabinets for you, look at Home Advisors for someone in your area. Fabulous room! Love the color too! I did the same in mine, with using cabinets for other intended purposes. My island is two bathroom vanity's back to back. I also love storing my paper/cardstock in hanging files mine, re-cycled from work (two tall filing cabinets painted to match). If you have lots of tiny craft supplies, beads or such those hardware draw units, the ones with loads of tiny drawers work great, found in hardware stores. Happy stampin'!

Wow...I love all of your storage ideas. I'm going to have to make a trip to IKEA very soon. What I liked the best was the stamp storage. While I do have a ton of Stampin' Up stamps, I have equally as many polymer stamps, and I use Stampin' Up cases to store them. Right now they are in stacked media boxes which makes them hard to look through. I'm going to be changing that very soon thanks to you!
