hello my blueberries! let’s get vulnerable today and talk about what i’d want my ideal relationship to look like after going through the intense grief that comes with relationships ending and doing the work on myself to understand myself a bit better. i talk about 12 core values and 10 of the more lighter beliefs, but definitely not insignificant, that are important to me. you are welcome to create your own list and tag me on instagram. id love to see it!! and id love to know your input on some of the things i talk about here! whether you relate or not. just remember, your needs can be drastically different than mine and ill whole heartedly accept them and still love you for it. so please just don’t shame me for mine. thank you!
love you guys and don't forget to like and subscribe and hit the bell icon if you learned anything new :) i’m grateful!

I applaud you and your ability to be vulnerable. Please remember that relationships take time. You will not have those things until trust has been accomplished. I have been married for 26 years and I will tell you we have all those things but it took time. Also a imperative word in a relationship is compromise. You must compromise with your partner. Laughter is a huge part of this too. The ability to laugh at yourself is important. And leave room for growth.

I love listening and watching your videos. You think soo deeply and I love that you speak how you feel, so positive but also very honest. You make me think about myself and what I want for myself in a positive way. I am very lucky to have a wonderful and beautiful person in my life who I love and treasure and who loves and treasures me. This video gives me an idea to create a collage/scrapbook look similar to this but in my own way to Bad OCD, constantly having horrible migraines, feeling sick constantly (I'm sure due to my anxiety and depression) and my horrible constant chronic body pain. I've been struggling with all of this for well over a year and I am still struggling with these to this day and it's been sooo damn hard and he is STILL here for me. Thank you sooo much for posting this video! This made me really think about how I want to show him my appreciation, gratitude, love and how important he is to me and how thankful I am to have him in my life. Thank you from the bottom to the top of my heart for making this video. You are a beautiful person inside and out, i am sending love and positive vibes your way!

thank you for this beautiful comment. im so sorry you have been feeling sick. gosh being sick makes life so much more difficult. having a partner to be there for you during this time is a blessing and i am so happy you have that. i hope being sick allows you to realize that taking care of you is the most important thing and gives you the permission to do so! you come first. i appreciate all the loving energy. im sending some right back to you! you deserve health and happiness :)

My boyfriend just broke up with me, I’m realising how toxic that relationship was. He blamed me for it and for hurting him when I did nothing but love him. I love him so much and he couldn’t give that back. Right now I’m learning to love myself and be enough for me.

im so sorry about the grief you are going through right now. i think the hardest part of my break up was blaming myself for the inevitable downfall of an unhealthy relationship. but it is always two people contributing. ALWAYS. i am so proud of you for putting you and your grief first right now. don't let anyone rush your grief. you only deserve someone who thinks you are a queen

Oh you nailed it!! I broke up in 2020 too and this is the first time I've been single in 16 yrs. I really want to take my time to find the right guy or person for me in the future and it feels sometimes like society is rushing single people to the altar. I love that you made this video! I love that you put so much of you out there and have really put into words things I've been struggling to voice!

I absolutely loved this! As someone in her 40s who is pansexual, there is nothing wrong with a woman being empowered and able to take care of all of her sh**, but still want to be their partner open doors for her and be chivalrous. It doesn't have to be one or the other, in my opinion.

This completely resonates with me. I'm going on my first date with a guy since my last relationship which was the guy I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. Lockdown forced me to confront my thoughts. It has made me stronger, more introspective and self assured about what I want/deserve in a relationship. Thank you for making this!

@@leelajournals thank you Leela 😊 update: I went on the date, the guy was perfectly nice but not for me, the old me would have held on to try and make it work, the new me is happy to do my own thing until the right guy comes along. I'm so glad you are taking time for yourself, enjoy it!

I LOVE this video. I really can appreciate everything you said about the the type of partner you want. I’ve been with my husband 15 years and 14 of them married. It’s been a wild roller coaster and we have many of the things you want from your partner. Honesty and trust are our biggest ones because without them the relationship will sour along with lots of laughter. Love your work and can’t wait to see more. Have a beautiful one🧡

I love this 💗 It's inspired me to really think about what I look for in all my relationships. For so long my intention in any relationship has been "whoever makes me feel not alone and keeps the boredom at bay" - and that's not good for me or them. So thank you for making me re-evaluate 💕 Also, please do more journal with me videos!

omgosh i relate so much! thinking about what we want our relationship to look like is so important. or at least it tells the universe we care.. so when we do come across that person that seems right, we wont gloss over them. we wont miss them. we will be able to recognize them! thank you for the love! i'll be sure to create more hehe :)

ok after hearing that i guess your ideal man would be an old wise man who figured all of this out and perfectionated it ^^ *just joking ....but thats the reason why my husband is 16 years older than me. Of course there are times where he disappoints me or I disappoint him. But we still stay together (9years, pregnant now) and work on everything. Its really hard!! But its the kind of relationship I wish for everybody to have :) Good Luck! (We met in League of Legends Germany btw; so they can be anywhere :)!!! )
