MY HYSTERECTOMY STORY

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Hey Everyone!!! I want to sit down and walk you through my hysterectomy journey in hopes that this may help someone who may be going or went through something similar. I want it to be noted that I am not an expert, so I will be only speaking to what my experience was like. Please allow me grace if I pronounced or explained something wrong. Thank you for watching #hysterectomy #fibroid #fibroiduterus #hysterectomyjourney

You are absolutely right!! We need to have these open discussions pertaining to our health. We’ll have them about sex etc but the changes our bodies go through are often kept quiet. Thank you for sharing your story. Thank you for your transparency!!

God bless you, sweetheart. You're my official angel of the day. I'm 66 years old and will be having a complete hysterectomy within the next 2 months. I so appreciate hearing your story. It really touched me. I have been having some anxiety but not about the surgery. I have been anxious about how terrible I feel all the time. I even had to quit my part time job last week. You're sweet voice and honesty is much appreciated. I feel stronger because of your video. I know it was posted on KZread a year ago. I pray that you are now healed and enjoying your life. Again, thank you. ❤

I thank you for sharing your story! I'm about to go through a hysterectomy as well, I have no kids but like you, I was on the fence about kids but I knew it wasn't going to happen because if it was meant to happen it would've. So now I'm preparing myself for this part of my life's journey ✨️ 🙂 I thank you for the encouragement from one black woman to another b/c you are Right-we don't openly discuss the changes that we face and it's all swept under the rug! I thank you again for sharing! It's important!!

I love your video. I've made a decision to get a hysterectomy, have my consult Monday and your video is uplifting, being able to live again. That's my goal.. everything always revolves around my period wearing me out. The anemia getting so bad. I will be happy that I don't have to worry about that anymore. Thanks for sharing your story. ❤

You are so cute and dont look anywhere near 40! And I resonate with you so much; i actually went through with the ufe when i should have just got a hysterectomy. My fibroids size is similar to yours and I am ecstatic that you found a doc who did a laparoscopic hysto! Thank you for your story ❤

@JusMe my surgery went fine, there some complications after surgery. After waking up I kept vomiting, couldn't keep anything down. All my pain meds were by mouth so I was pretty much without pain meds for like 10-12 hours until they got me an iv which was insane!!! That Qasim on a Thursday went for checkup on Tuesday they removed my staples on Wednesday coughed out of nowhere and have my incision burst open. I had a full hysterectomy, they removed my uterus, tubes and cervix through my c-section incision

Thank you for sharing im about to have a full hysterectomy and at first they recommend to shrink the fibroid so my doctor gave me a shot but the it only helped a little bit. Then i was told by my doctor he was gonna send me to a specialist that could shrink it for good but covid hit and that was over for me then my son was murdered and i just stopped caring about my hralth after that until March of 2023 so i went in to an mri and it had grew bigger over 4yrs to the size of an cantaloupe in my uterus so now i have to have everything removed.ive been crying a lot and mad with myself but i thank god he gave me 7 children but it feels like im loosing a part of me,but i know god got m3 and i want have this pain anymore im 46 now so im ready but im scared because my doctor have to go back in where i had a c section and im a big woman with the extra stomachache and i had 28 stamples when i had my last baby and that was a.lot of pain plus infection in the cut because no one taught me how to clean it properly.Im glad everything went fine for you and just worried now about my high blood pressure and i have non epileptic seizures so please pray for me.

Thank you for being open and sharing your story! It's true - we really need to talk about this so much more to help each other instead of keeping it secret. I hope you're still enjoying life after the much time! I am going in for my total hysterectomy and oopherectomy in about three weeks and I hope my weeks after look like yours!
