My Hydroponic System...
Two years ago I decided to develop the first fully-automated hydroponic system in the world for food production.
Here's the first public debut of the system, and the reason why I ended up investing in a competitor's company instead...

Mike I remember your book Magnetic Sponsoring from so long ago. You will be a success no matter what you do because you have the proper mindset. I have always seen you throughout the years with one constant "humble". You might make a hell of a lot of money but you always try to help the masses. Keep up the good work and best wishes to you!

Thank you!
good luck Mike! thanks for your realism and positivity!
Wow! Add the click and grow to the original evergrow concept. Its beautiful living art that continually changes and supports your life. One of the most incredible things I've ever seen for a home. Please don't forget the appeal of pure aesthetics! And the percentage of people moving to plant based diets keeps growing. Love this.
Mike, I like how you just went for it, found a better product, then just joined fortunes w/your skillset, and investing in it. Dig'n that. Props man.
Very honest and open video, bravo.
All the best to you, MIke! You are intelligent and brave. Seems like a vacation would be the best thing for you right now.
It has been valuable following your journey. Look forward to the future! As of current we have started your List Grow Program!
you keep inspiring me, amazing video. Good luck :)
I had been wondering how your endeavors were going...thanx for sharing!!
I would have bought yours just simply because the way it looks
Thx for sharing you're story with us even if the ending was not what we expected. Best of luck for the future of Self Made Man always a joy and huge inspiration for me to listen to.
Really frank and honest video. Nice one Mike
This video was so informative. Applause for this man’s work and amazing honesty
Wow. That takes character. It's the hardest thing to admit defeat and give up on your baby. Respect.
I just watched video 1-7 and I really appreciate those videos, great content! Mike, I got a couple of ideas that I would love to run by you. I just need a few minutes. One is to do with agriculture. The other has to do with realty. I don't want money sir. I need the help and the opportunity to live out my dream like you do. And, you do it well if I might add.. Thanks for your time Mike. Excited to hear from you!
Wow, Mike. What a brilliant, creative, down to earth, caring man you are. Thank you for your beautiful invention and your vision. Maybe, the future is not quite as bleak as I thought.
Well done amazing product
Mike is so awesome! I've seen you grow so much and you inspire me
Great idea but if there was no electric you would have no light how about doing this with wind power and solar as well ??
Great Positive attitude and openness to accept failure... real motivating. Keep it up and best of luck in your future endeavors.
great idea design!
Just think outside the box Mike! Make it happen.
cant put in words how much self made man continues to change my life.
Thanks for sharing and thanks for putting me on the path of click and grow. I came to the exact same conclusion in my journey to become self sufficient, hydrophonics is challeging and a lot of repetitive work that is quite costly to automate.
If only all marketers were as honest and motivated as Mike to do good in the world.
Aw, I feel like he put in alot of work and effort into this product. :( I would buy that garden if I can find the website. :)
great journey! :-)
Hydroponics is the way of the future
Hydroponic is expensive but good investment thought. I grow Kratky method hydroponic, no electricity or any pump needed. Just using mason jars and nutrients.

why not get an airstone?
very good design
Thank you so much for sharing your story. I’m a holistic nutrition specialist an it’s inspiring to hear your downfalls and your passion to change the industry. I’m signing up for 2.0. Can you add (wo) to the title of self made man ? Hehe 😉 thanks
Hi Mike, I really wished your original Hydroponic creation worked out well. That would've been an ingenious idea. I hope you have a patent to it, just in case you want to sell it's design to larger corporation that want's to invest more in scaling the design. Nevertheless, I too believe the big Agra industry requires a lot of reforming and if many more people had a hydroponic in their home, and it would reduce water consumption and even carbon emissions as it takes vehicles to move the products and tractors. Also I saw the product "Click and Grow", from the company you invested. That is a cool design, and product. I never heard of it till I saw your site. Not saying others aren't but I personally think there is a huge market that "Click and Grow" is missing to get more exposure to the mainstream market to scale even more wide. I'm sure that there is a niche Gardening community that may already know about products like this, but many people still haven't. What if you guys partnered with a "Shark", and pitched it on "Shark Tank"?. I think Lori Greiner and Kevin O'Leary had some interest another product that was pitch similar to over 3 years ago called EDN Wall Garden...but none of the sharks ended taking the deal. Who knows you guys can be next? Thanks for hearing me out...Good luck! ~ Anthony
Nonetheless, admirable. Hope you can figure it out so than indoor farming can become a standard of the future
How do you feed water in to it?
Mike would you mind creating a video elaborating on creating an advisory board with equity share when creating a product as you have
Where can I buy one?
How do I buy an ever grow?
where is it??? can't find it
“I set out to solve a complex problem. Someone beat me to it. So now we joined forces and we are doing it better together.” Why is that so cool to me?
ya but will it grow anything other then leafy greens?
Is there any opportunities for outsiders to invest in clickandgrow?
I would buy this over click and grow. Their stand up hydroponics and are not eye appealing.
Mike, 0 down to get unit, and charge me 1/2 my food budget/ month i'm in! :)
Ugh I need some version of this but basically just for lettuce. This product is Definitely prettier. Is there a reason you couldn’t just pour water in from the top and have the little click and grow things in this sort of tower? I get that all the other details you originally included are amazing, but this would be the least tedious of my chores anyway.

I'd love to, but the cost to make those design changes, and then get the system into a manufactured state would be in the millions.

Mike Dillard it’s unfortunate :/ your design is to to the click and grow system what Apple is to windows... 😅
Click and Grow is great, but it's still a centralized and patented ag product, and probably not the final solution.
You can make a great product but $600 dollars on the website for a 3 tier small system... its just too costly. Truly great products operate within a financial constraint. I would love to see something like this tower for a price point of around $400...

That's a big assumption to make without knowing the cost to manufacture or import, and then leave a margin for profit. This tower was fully automated and just the cost to manufacture it would have been over $1,000
Silicon Valley hard at work solving problems that only exist in Silicon Valley
I learned how to grow weed in Cali and now I am all for growing my own vegginators. haha.
That's amazing! Thats what ive been developing in my head. I knew someone had to have already made it. This will change the way we live forever. I could see every home having one. I wish i had a million dollars to help back this. Why isnt NASA funding this? This will be key in the settlement of mars. Mars investment is happening now folks! This will make colonizing mars possible
I want to start hydroponic in india . Anyone who investment in it
This project has failed? Don`t see your system to be commercialized.
200 bucks for that photoshop??

You might want to actually watch the video before you make comments that make you look like an idiot.
This is an ad. Not even a hydroponics ad really.

An ad for something that isn't even for sale? Kinda silly eh? My audience is entrepreneurs and this is a case study on why the project didn't work out so they can learn from it. Cearly you didn't watch the whole video.

@@MikeDillardShow I did watch the whole thing. And I was a little confused about what the point of it was. I think the title gave me an impression that the video would be about how the system works, like similar recommended videos, and that colored my impression and increased my confusion. Like if someone stumbled onto Shark Tank during Shark Week.
So you are selling a proprietary solution, requiring to buy proprietary tjings. A bit like Monsanto... You are solving no problem, just moving it somewhere else. I see the appeal for VCs though. Definitely not buying. 👎🏽 Patents hurt diversity, sustainability, and the world utimately.

It's not for sale. You might want to actually watch the video before you make an ignorant comment.

@@MikeDillardShow I think you misunderstood the comment. I seems obvious that they were saying 'Definitely not buying' clickngrow, due to the proprietary 'nano soil' etc.
