Sounds like she's old enough to be a lost cause. You gotta have it early on in life. I tried to get a coworker a lil older than me to have awareness (she never saw a larger guy walking directly towards us coming from the side). If you listen she asks too many dumb questions ("holding them up to where?"..... does it matter??😂). Plus she sounds like the type to be on her phone or staring off into space while at the gas station.

@@babyshaq6455Very true! I started teaching my daughter very early. When she was small I’d ask what color something was that we passed or what did someone have on. It’s just like I spy with greater detail. She’s 10 now. We were shopping for Thanksgiving and I was paying attention to my list. She told me a guy was following us through the store. I didn’t turn around but I act like I was taking a selfie so I could see him lol 😂. He followed us three more aisles which I skipped on purpose. I walked up to security and asked one to walk me to my car and another to watch the man as we left. I left all that food in the store lol 😂. I gave my daughter a huge hug for paying attention. I drove to the police station just in case someone was following us and then went home. I did let a police know but they couldn’t do anything about. Even though I know to be more aware of my surroundings, that day I was just stressed trying to prepare for a huge dinner. I’m a lot more aware know and I carry.

Its difficult for her to pay attention to her surroundings, some people have gone through trauma ( any kind ) and life makes it difficult for them to pay attention to their surroundings, people like you have no emphaty all you do is judge other's. Agreed but i recommend doing it in a fashion that doesn't involve calling your family retards and also without scaring them. He said "they have guns and are holding them up" as if they are robbing the gas station or someone else nearby. They simply have guns with is not a crime itself if its legal forearm open carry. He should of just got out of the situation quickly and informed the family members afterwards what happened instead of being super cringe about it. I rememeber living in PA hanging with friends by the creek and i bear suddenly was appraoching us and i saw it but no one else so i quickly said "hey i really need to get home can we leave please, i will explain later, lets just leave, follow me" and after we got home i informed them that a huge bear was appraoching us but i did not want to cause panic and make matters worse. This dude acted like an absolutel beta and needs to do better!

Ok. My gun and family are 30' apart from one another. No issues. My guns are peaceful, quiet and seek to harm no one. The first instinct is to AVOID places where you know or can see by conditions that it's not safe. Yes, crime can happen anywhere, but observe and be aware of the upkeep of the area you're in. Does the community look like it's affluent, middle-class, or government dependent welfare. Regardless of color, it's the smaller uneducated and low income segment of ANY society of any skin color that causes most of the crimes. The smart person knows their surroundings if they live in or near that area, or is very observant of their surroundings if they don't, and NEVER makes themselves a potential victim by being unarmed. When I'm on trips, I always pay close attention to the quality of housing and community care and upkeep.

I'm always asking, was he Mexican, black or white, we have to be aware of our surroundings, cause it'll be your own people too, and I gotta know. I'm aware of everybody in my surroundings

It was a very pointless description. The only info is they’re black, how does that help anybody, except make people second guess every black person they see. I’m not calling the man racist, it’s just very clear the description helped no one and added no real details to help point out the people.

@@Fishingwithmyfishers you got 5 people in a Red shirt with short hair. One is white, one is black, one is native, one is Indian, and one is Asian. If I say the man in the red shirt with short hair who is roughly about 5’10 is talking about pulling a gun and I say that to police and they get there. The guy holding the gun may have 4 chances to get away. But if I say “the man in a red shirt short hair 5’10 White is talking about pulling a gun” then obviously they know it’s the white guy not the black or Asian guy. It shows exactly which person in that moment to look out for
