I believe that the original loan would have to be repaid, and a new mortgage set up. Presume that she would have had to pay a down payment so she should not want to just give up on that money. Do parents in the USA demand money. I presume that this is another Japanese thing.

This remake story is horrible the mortgage goes from 4000 to 5000. Then it's 5000 again. I mean we can make things up but make it make sense.
