the more i learn about Kristen Bell...the more i like her. she is a genuinely good person

It's nice to know that just because you have a sibling that is rich and famous doesn't mean you have to mooch off of them. Kristen could have probably bought them a bigger house. It's also cool to see she is so down to earth.

Hopefully this gets the designer a bunch of business because her personality is awesome and she did a great job.

Great job! I have to say that I welled up when she called Tom her brother. So many in-laws are treated badly by siblings and family members. I've always called my brothers' wives my sisters....we didn't have any growing up....so it's an incredible honor to have them in our lives.

I always liked Kristin Bell. Now I am a a bigger fan. What a sweet gesture.

I always thought Kristen Bell was sweet. I saw it here for myself. How wonderful she was able to do this for her sis and her family. Lovely. This vid made my day. Lucy, I love your new room!

Kristen's voice is always so soothing

I am a senior citizen, retired, and was never an entertainment person. I have never seen a Kristen Bell movie, but have seen, via KZread, her appearances on the Craig Ferguson show. Those appearances told me Kristen is a very "alive," outgoing person, and I think this proves she still has those Midwest roots and grounding. (I live in Ohio, but hey, I still think she's lovely and to be admired.) Way to go. Family, in the end, is always what it is about.

This is what happens when you raise kids right... They do genuine things for each other without all the showmanship... Love Kirsten!

I know this is a plug for Houzz and I totally can't afford to shop on their site, but I'm a huge fan of Kristen Bell and couldn't resist watching. I'm not sure who I wish I could be more: Kristen, the giver, or Sarah and her family, the receivers. Definitely got teary along with the family!

You ladies make me miss my sister even more. I lost her in 1993 when I was 16 and she was 21. She was our rock as well. Y’all keep each other close always. Much love ❤️

I love Kristen Bell and it was lovely to see that even as an A list actress etc she still is grounded by her roots and where she comes from and what she did for her sister was brilliant. You could see the love and closeness even though they live far apart and I think in this day and age it's heart warming to see families still so close ❤️

I just found this video today and I had to send it to my mom and sisters. We lived in Madison Heights until I was in 2nd grade. When we moved there were 7 of us in a small brick ranch that looked almost exactly like this house. How we would have loved a basement like this. Such efficient use of space and such a kind thing to do. So glad I found this and will be subscribing!!
