I agree with this 100%!! He’s out there preaching the gospel and it’s not our job to judge what God’s doing in His life. God works through everyone in different ways and even if his expression of faith isn’t exactly what someone would picture doesn’t make it wrong.

Yes and amen to every second of this video! I think we should be excited about Kanye just like we should be excited when any new Christian gives their life to Jesus. And just like any new Christian, Kanye is gonna go through a learning curve, like a newborn deer finding its legs. We should be extending grace and encouragement- iron sharpens iron, right? Preface - I do not Christianity is a sign of mental illness or is something that only people in times of mental hardship can come to. I also think Christianity can have a place in mental health treatment. Here's my thing about this. In my experience people who do such an overzealous 180 in their views/behavior in a relatively small period of time tend to be struggling with mental health challenges whether it's personally or with someone they love. It could be anything from suddenly getting really involved in anime to doing drugs to running marathons. Kanye has a history of mental health including a super recent mental health hospitalization. Now I'm not saying this turnaround is mental health related but I do think that with what we know we need to consider it not only for Kanye but for people who have experienced this. Without getting personal I have experienced this with family. Just because it's not cocaine doesn't mean it's not potentially dangerous.
