My Hostel Room Tour at IIT Hyderabad | Full Hostel Tour | Hostel life |
Hello everyone
Welcome to the Hostel Tour of IIT Hyderabad. For the very first time I am going to show you how it looks inside the hostel of IIT Hyderabad, what all facilities do we have etc.
So in this video I have made a tour of my hostel kapila along with the other hostel like Ramanuja and the main blocks. In total we have 12 hostels and 1 married student hostel ( which is not yet provided ). The names of the hostel are as follows.
ARYABHATTA, BHASKARA, GARGI, MAITREYI. These hostels are for Girls.
BRAHMAGUPTA, CHARAKA, KAUTILYA, SUSRUTA, VARAHAMIHIRA, VYASA these hostels are for boys.
The M.Tech and PhD first year students stay in KAPILA, where as B.Tech first year stays in RAMANUJA.
we have a total capacity of 3000 students. currently new blocks are under construction which will be allotted to the students once they have been completed.

iit hyderabad (chemical) vs iit jodhpur (Electrical) vs nit surat/durgapur (cse). 11th-12th me computer science was one of my subjects and mujhe usme jada efforts nhi marna pdta tha bas class attend and solve programming assignments. But mai dusre branches me bhi jakar pdh skta hu kuchh khas dikkat nhi hogi . Mujhe complete jee prep me physics me sbse jada mza aaya, I like physics . Sir, jo bhi mere liye best hoga vo suggest kijiye 🙏 I want my future secured and a decent income(10-12+ lpa). Iit hyderabad chemical ka avg package kitna hai ?

everything and every branch is best in its own way. Think want you like the most and work hard for it. ye aap pe depend karta hai aap kitna efforts lete ho. talking about income woh to aaram se mil jayega but you need to take efforts

Hi bro....Are the new hostels ready? ...I got admission offer for Mtech RA in Microelectronics and VLSI this year and we need to report there on 26th July .....so they will provide us new hostels or kapila?....btw in new hostels there is single occupancy or double?

no not allowed only electric kettle can be used
Do we need to vacate hostel after sem end and vacations? Do we need to take our all luggage or they provide lockers for luggage. Asking as I would be a student from Mumbai very far and diff to carry luggage in flight

Yes you need to do it (only btechs) and mumbai is not so far 12 tasat ghari pochashil.

BHAIYA one last question Clg me construction chalu he To kya uske vajah se clg me har jagah bahot dust hoti he ?? I have allergy of dust Is environment in clg fresh and clean to breathe????

Single rooms are in the main blocks for 1st mtech, Mdes, phd, msc and 1st btech have to share rooms rest year students get single rooms

You will be given hostel if you are self sponsored student.

All students will be given accomodation in hostel itself if you don't want hostel you can even stay outside. By the way semiconductor comes under my dept msme. For all the updates subscribe to the channel

1st you will be allotted in kapila then nxt year to any of the main hostels. If you are married then you will be shifted to married student hostel which is yet to be allotted.
