We were on that same exact cruise! We stayed in an Aqua Class Veranda. The room was very nice and the room attendant was one of the best we’ve ever had. The only show we didn’t like was the Shaw Comedian Guy.

We changed our afternoon treats with Concierge to fruit which was fantastic- definitely worth asking them to change. Thanks for your video. We last travelled on Equinox in 2020 just before Covid and are sailing on her again in June - can’t wait especially after watching your channel.thank you.

I just did the same thing when I had concierge class on the ascent! The fruit and cheese was fantastic! So much better than the canipes they would normally serve. I’m glad you enjoy the content!

I was on equinox last month. 8 night eastern Caribbean in concierge class. Literally couldn’t have been a better experience for my first time cruising

@@adventureswithCorey definitely addicted already have my next one planned. Sadly it won’t be on celebrity. Only because of itinerary. Going to Alaska and wanted a land and sea trip also a ship that can go into glacier bay. Ended up going with a 5 day land and 7 day cruise on grand princess ship. Crossing my fingers that it will be as enjoyable as my first cruise was.

Alaska is more about the destination than the ship. So with that said you'll have a great time regardless!

The food on the Celebrity fleet is the BEST we've had so far after 19 cruises that includes Carnival, RC, nd NCL. Going on the Majestic Princess in February 2025 so we will see who will retain the #1 spot!!......

Hey Corey my friend! Great vid! We have only done one Celebrity cruise. It was on the Summit in 2018. We had an Aqua Class veranda. Back then they had Q-Sine which was our fave. Loved it. We heard they did away with it. That's a shame. We disliked Blu most of the time but the service was very good. I found hair in my food twice so that really put me off. That is probably why we didn't care for it. My in-laws are Elite (not sure of the name of their statuses) and love all things Celebrity. We would like to try them again. We are Diamond with RCCL and we are aiming to get to Diamond + for the reciprocal status. LOL!!! Hope to sail with you again someday! Keep up the awesome work!

I'm diamond on RCCL as well. You'll get ELITE status on X if you sail on them. I'd suggest that you try an EDGE class ship. It truly is a remarkable class of ship. In addition, If you do AQUA, and go back to BLU, just know, you can also order from the MDR menus as well. I did that quite often. You can check out my EDGE vlog series if you're interested.

My wife and I are sailing on Celebrity for the first time October 14th for 8 days to the ABC Islands on Equinox in a Aqua Class stateroom on deck 11 midship to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Also we are sailing on Oceania for the first time December 30th on there newest ship Vista in one of there Penthouse suites for 10 nights to the Caribbean as well on deck 11 midship. We are looking forward to both of these cruises and trying something new. Thank you for the review of Equinox and the Celebrity brand.

I’m glad you enjoyed! I’m jealous you’re going to the ABC’s I haven’t been, but will be going next year on the beyond! You’ll love aqua class, and I’m sure you’ll really enjoy Oceania as well! That’s more of a luxury like than celebrity, but have a great time!

I am a bit nervous because of the reviews regarding dated cabins. I know you were in Aqua Class but did you find your cabin really worn and torn or did anyone else complain about this?

I was actually only in concierge class on this ship. I actually didn’t find the cabin worn or dated at all. In fact, I believe parts of the cabin like the sofa, and carpet were recently replaced. You can check out my room your video I have if you’d like to see the details. The only thing that was lacking, was no power by the beds, but that is common for a ship of this age. However you can plug your phone into the phone by the bed as there is a USB outlet on it.

We sailed on the Equinox Aqua Class to the ABC Islands (Aruba, etc.) at the end of August. I have to admit I did not think the Aqua class food was all that good for dinner (breakfast is great!), so we ended up ordering off the Main Dining Room Menu most of the time. They can serve it to you in Aqua class. I have to disagree with you about the Buffet, unless you are really into Roast Pork served 60% of the time.

I was in Aqua on the edge. I loved it! The service was amazing, but agree, that the menu choices didn't really appeal to me, and often ordered from the MDR menus (which is nice you can do that!) Regarding the ocean view.. I actually didn't have roast pork in there lol. I did however think the majority of the food in there was pretty good.

I loved Bimini! Yes it’s a beach day…. But the Virgins club is fabulous

We've heard a lot about cutbacks, including to the retreat, and also food quality. There's also the news of charging for cookie and then discontinuing the charge and the cookie. How do you feel about all this?

If I’m honest, the cruise lines (not just celebrity) are looking for ways that they can add additional revenue due to the billions that were lost and borrowed during the shut down. It’s a balancing act, between raising fares to keep the services and amenities in place, or keep the fares and make reductions on board. They’re constantly doing tests to see what can and cannot work. I think the equinox is their test baby. My feeling is to keep everything they had in place and raise the fares. It’s the special and little touches that celebrity has and does that sets it apart. You start removing all of those, and you basically have royal Caribbean. (Albeit I love royal Caribbean)

I saw Jeff shaw last week on carnival celebration. I also walked out of the show. I was not entertained.

Which ship are you going on? I can’t speak to a sky suite, however I know you can dine in their specialty restaurant, luminae. You can also go to Blu if not during peak times.

We were on the Equinox in August, and loved the virtual reality show at Le Petit Cafe-- and the lobster night dinner. . It is well worth the additional charge!

We have just got off the Beyond, we have to say it was our second sailing on the edge class ships and we don’t like them we much prefer travelling with Celebrity on the solstice class ships of which we have done many. Like yourself we are definitely NOT impressed with the new reduced menu, it feels penny pinching and drastically reduced our enjoyment of the cruise. We plan another Celebrity cruise early next year but I think we are looking elsewhere were for future cruises. Celebrity was never a cruise line that we put into a penny pinching bracket hence our loyalty but we have to say we have noticed this new policy over a number of areas on the ship and it’s not good for us.

I can’t say that I blame you for looking elsewhere. It’s new leadership at the top, who came from royal Caribbean. I feel she’s trying to bring some of the Royal Caribbean aspects to celebrity, and that’s not what the celebrity brand was/is about.

What don't you like about the Edge ships? I don't like what I see of them either. I actually like the Century class ships best from Celebrity. Then Solstice next.

Cant you ask for someone else beside champagne,? i dont drink either. Celebrity has gone down over the years. I started with them at their founding in 1988. I don't go to the bars so the friendliness if bartenders means nothing .

I never thought about asking for something other than champagne. It wasn’t a big deal. I just gave it to someone nice. I got my sodas when I went bar hoping during the elite happy hour lol.

Lord knows we didn't want your complete dishonest review. The Hamburgers are very low quality at the Mast Grill. Portions in the MDR and Blu is very small. I have been sailing with Celebrity since 1990 this line has sled way down hill from where they use to be...about ready to leave this line.

It’s good that you can get as much as you want then! I didn’t find the portions to be that small, especially when ordering a few appetizers or even multiple entrees.

@@adventureswithCorey the point is we never had to order multiple appetizers or entrees..Now their biggest mistake is eliminating Gratuities in a package they claim is all inclusive. I have spoken to the President and her CEO of Celebrity...she is bringing idea from where she came from, Royal Caribbean...She is killing the Celebrity brand.

They need to get someone like Sasso to run Celebrity and get rid of who is in charge now. Celebrity needs to reconnect to being Celebrity and not change their ID to some hipper and more trendy and nickel and dime outfit.
