For me, the song sounds too un-structured, like it doesn't really have a start, middle and end, so it's not a natural fit when someone else comes onto the track. I mean, is it just me, or does the beginning of the song sound like it could be the end of the song? I like Ozuna's voice, but he didn't really fit here, while Lisa and Megan were the best parts of the song. Minus Ozuna, the song could sound better if it was restructured, but as is, not my jam, not my butter, not my toast.

(Hear me out I'm not saying Blood Sweat and Tears is a bad song it's a bop but it's not go9d compared to D4 KTL, HYLT and even BTS songs like Dynamite and DNA.) Just not my cup of tea Taki Taki is better in my opinion they rushed SG I mean it gives summer pool party vibes and it's October I am into more Countryside music at this time like On the Ground, Solo, Stay, You Never Know or Taylor Swift's songs! So it just doesn't fit for me! They should've released it in summer next year and shouldn't have rushed it! The production was great thou! And as always lisa killed the dance break.

This style of music is very popular internationally so it was a smart move to have Lisa feature in it. I just hope blinks try to be positive overall so that Lisa can get more opportunities like this

We waited and heared rumours about this since 1.5 yrs and when it was sure to release I was honestly very happy since they all were great artist too. But, I expected more the song isn't bad at all but it was lacking somewhere and little repetitive type. If they had worked a bit on this it would be bop. The thing is the sound of the song suits Ozuna's voice but when he got a lot of lines and repeating that was kinda annoying and if Megan had more lines it will be better and Lisa really shined this time we will always expect her to rap but this time in my opinion better than Lalisa and money her vocals was the best here!! Like it suits her so well unexpectedly and she really SANG SANG!! a woman that was known for her rap skills more than vocals really sang like an incredible vocalist she's really that talented OMG! And her dancing was so satisfying and so good I like this type of music sound tbh so I already loved it from the 1st listen it's just ozuna's repeated parts that annoyed me and hope many will love the song:)!

Im starting to think this is why YG didn’t wanna release the collaboration haha cause they weren’t feeling the song like y’all and we all know YG only releases perfect bops (they can literally take years to perfect a song & release it which is why in music n production I trust YGent so much). Tbh the song is only bop after a few listens but without Lisa’s part I wouldn’t even add it to my playlist or even finish the song. But this is definitely something new from Lisa (the latin vibes and dancehall beats). Shows that she is so versatile!! Really hope to see more collabs like this in the future. I agree with most of your points! I wanted to talk about how the timing and editing made it feel "rushed", cause it really was. I truly believe that YG restricted DJ Snake from releasing the song earlier (summer 2020/summer 2021) because Lisa hadn't debut as a solo artist yet. YG messed up by promising Rosé to debut as a solo artist after Jennie. Lisa should've debut after Jennie if they had wanted to cement her solo career first. The reason I felt that this happened because of how they rushed (kind of if we are talking about YG here) Lisa's solo after Rosé's and the quality of Lisa's comeback (don't get me wrong- I liked the songs and the music videos but there were aspects like the songwriting, the physical album quality, and the terrible/short album scheduling and live promotions) that made it feel unfinished just to let DJ Snake finally release this track. The song sounds like a track that should've been released when Spanish/Reggaeton was at its peak back in 2019/2020, especially during the summer. Regardless, I'm glad its out finally and I'm happy for DJ Snake because I know how hard he fought to have Lisa on a track of his and the constant hate he got from solo stans and antis. (Btw when I talk about Rosé being after Jennie, it is in no way re-evaluating Rosé or hating her, I'm more annoyed with how YG has promised certain timelines and fails to deliver in time and how YG limits the pinks). Also, the song had too much repetition of Ozuna's lines. I felt that if MTS had a longer bar and ad-libs and also had Lisa sing a chorus or have a short rap verse it would've been better.

I wish the song has a fair line(cause ozuna has a 1mins line in the first part/line of the song,megan theestalion just rap i wish she could sing a little bit and lisa just sing in the last minutes of the song,this is just my opinion don't hate me),my idea is that lisa and megan theestalion rapping together and the song has a bridege/a dance break like money by lisa so the song is little bit longer and yeah i would agree on your opinion that song is constantly repeating but i love lisa and megan theestalion.

also I’m not forgetting how DJ Snake teased blinks for SO LONG like I think he just wants to take as much advantage of the hype from our fandom, when in reality Meghan and Lisa were the only good parts

In my opinion, Megan and Lisa should've gotten more lines than Ozuna.. This song is literally Taki Taki 2.0 cuz Cardi and Selena saved that song and for SG Lisa and Megan saved it.. It's not that bad but it's not the Collab I was expecting

i think the reason why ozuna’s part was so long and repetitive was bc that’s usually how his songs and other latin artists songs are. it’s something u kind of have to get used to. he was in fact the main character in this just like in taki taki so ofc hes gonna sing most of the song.

Ok so if you go in to this expecting a kpop level music video of course it's going to be lacklustre. As for the timing of the song the summer vibe lines up pretty perfectly with the southern hemisphere summer which is good because this song is going to be pretty big in South America.

I like ozuna part. This song is beautiful. This will be a bang.. no doubt. Love reggaeton music... i'm pleasantly surprised lisa voice suits reggaeton... wow.. so talented. Hope they do more like this.. thankyou dj snake.

The structure was definitely awkward but Lisa's part was so good and I'm so glad they showcased her vocals and let her write her verse

OZUNA shouldn't have been in the song , his voice didn't suit it , imagine how better it would be if it was just dj snake , Lisa and megan . Megan needed a longer verse and the space between the chorus and megan and Lisa's parts were confusing , the instrumentals where bland and boring. Lisa and megan carried the song. The music video was okay , I loved Lisa's part but I hated how they edited her into the groups scene , like SHE TELEPORTED , she was on the right in one second and in a blink of an eye she's on the left , it was like they where putting her in where there was space I would give it a 6/10 honestly

The arrangement was kind of off, like why was Ozuna singing for soo long at the start and in the same sort of tone and pace, it felt like one big chorus. imo, a bit more of Megan Thee Stallion (maybe in the first half of the song) and tbh Lisa’s verse was the best part for me. Her dancing was also nice. One thing that kinda cracked me up was when all four were on screen, Lisa looked so awkward ahahah

lisa looked so akward with the weird dancing💀💀 It makes me think that there was no music playing when they recorded her solo parts (the ones with the orange bg)

These comments got me scratching my head, especially the ones saying Ozuna shouldn’t have been on this song - especially considering this is a reggaeton beat and he was the only one that sounded naturally good. Ozuna was the best one on this song - no surprise, this was a beat practically made for him and he’s one of reggaeton’s most decorated artists. However, the repeated lines and gaps in the song made him seem less impressive than he actually was. Lisa really surprised me. Yes, she used some autotune, but you can make out the stable vocals behind the slight distortion. Honestly, if I’m being 100% real… Megan was the weakest link on this track - I personally don’t think this was a good beat for her; which is a shame since I’m a fan of her music. I think the song would’ve been better if there were more lines distributed to Lisa, and if Cardi B had been on the track instead of Megan as Cardi does have experience on a reggaeton beat and she has made a few good collabs with Ozuna already. The video…. Other than the Lisa dance breaks, it was a mess. Ignoring the jarring green screen that was used for Lisa, the overall editing was not it. I swear that most scenes were reused at least 2-3 times.

Bruh Lisa didn't put the cherry on the top she made the whole ass cake without her the song would have flopped the difference between Taki Taki and SG is that the tampo is the same through the whole song which pissed me off compared to takitaki there are a lot of beat drops and tempo changes which made the song fun plus even tho i don't like cardi but her rap in Taki Taki was better and both her and Selena sang in Spanish and i was expecting the same which SG

@@Aurora_252 both taki taki and SG are different styles, if it was the same style, then I would no doubt see people saying that " this song is just a copy of taki taki" . It's a chill song maybe that's why k-pop fans don't like because mostly all k-pop songs are bangers and upbeat and swaggy songs with different concepts. But it's true tho, did you notice that Ozuna's "woah-o-a-o" vocal part was the same as taki taki.

@@xena5119 Taki Taki is a summer song in that summer i literally heard it in every wedding megan part was okay but the transition to it was a bit off and Ozuna needed less lines fr no hate anyone but why tf that pre chorus was so damn long for absolutely no reason

for me, for the artist to grow u should drop ur typical kpop views because this is a great opportunity for lisa/bp especially to expand their audience mostly in latin listeners. Cuz they have a big audience and it does well in numbers. Specifically when ozuna is a grammy winner ,the audience will tune in regardless if they are a kpop fan or not. And it’s okay if u didn’t like the song cuz for sure there a lot of listeners who likes this kind of genre. same goes to her song money.

I don’t know whether it’s me being biased since I love Lisa but her & Megan part honestly saved the entire song. Was actually hoping Megan had longer lines in this song so the song go flow smoothly. And people including me had high expectations for this song since it features amazing artists from other continents but it’s just not my cup of tea. Love Lisa vocals so much & that’s honestly it. Something just doesn’t go well for me in this song.

I personally liked it , it’s very ozuna and dj snake , this is their classic sound , it isn’t like kpop where it has a start , middle , end , it feels unstructured but fun , very tropical and summer-y like taki taki , it’s a very feel good song , I just wanna groove with the music

The song is an absolute party banger! Dj Snake as always putting some of the best beats out there, Ozuna coming in hot with the latino vibe, Megan spitting them flames and ofc Lisa being the idol everyone loves. Dont really understand why some BP fans say that Ozuna had 90% of the song...its more like 40% Dj snake for putting this song together, 30% Ozuna (1 verse and 2 hooks), 20 % Lisa (1 verse and her own version of the hook) and 10% for megan (short verse). And even if we consider the screen time... Cameras were on Lisa for half of the song. Y'all should be grateful for the amount she got in this song.

The sole fact the they CGI’d my queen LISA was it. We needed the chemistry like in TAKITAKI. There were a bunch of missed opportunities. We needed TAKITAKI 2.0, but this left me wanting something more.

Needed less DJ Snake and Ozuna and More Lisa and Megan. They completely slept on them during the track.

Tbh we all had high expectations hoping it'll be like taki taki it's our fault we had high expectations knew this was gonna happen That's y y'all should just wait for their songs rather than creating songs in your head and when it's come up y'all are gonna complain not to sound rude but I said what I said

I loved Lisa’s voice in the song, I wish YG gave a verse or at least a couple of lines like that in Blackpink’s songs. She isn’t the best vocalist but she won’t have a chance to improve if she doesn’t get any vocal lines. Also YG GIVE A JENNIE A RAP PLEASE 😭😭
